Agreed, Seraphim! Agreed!
A/F was WAY out of line and owes Patricius a formal apology for his cruel and stupid attack on a man with a publicly known, and often very difficult and painful, medical condition.
A/F, as others have already pointed out to you, it really takes no courage at all to walk the battlefied after combat has ceased, shooting the wounded.
And, as still others have also pointed out to you, your sophomoric "zeal" comes with no good grace and discredits traditionalists in the eyes of their fellow Catholics.
As much as I disagree with Patricius' private position on the subject, he is a man and deserving of our patience, our willingness to bear with his opinion in a civil manner and, most of all, our respect and courtesy simply for being a Catholic.
He has expressed himself on a contentious point concerning a controversial person in an ambiguous situation. Not a one of us agrees with the statement he made. However, he has every right to state it even if, on its face, there are any number of problems in doing so.
Nevertheless, other Catholics and even perhaps some non-Catholics reading your visceral, vindictive words about Patricius' medical situation will be well within their rights, as well, to take great umbrage at their manifest severity and think ill, perhaps for a very long time, of traditionalists generally.
At least Patricius did something to help himself recover.
Go, and do likewise.
