Does anyone know why Bishop Fellay is called an Auxiliary Bishop, as is listed under his picture in the Immaculata Church Project brochure?
.
I'm taking a guess here. Since the SSPX no longer has supplied jurisdiction and gets
jurisdiction for confession, marriages and last rites from Pope Francis and the marriage
paperwork goes to the local diocesan bishop and they have changed some holy days
of obligation to be not so, to match the NO calendar ...
that they are actually part of the NO diocese. Then the "primary" bishop would be the
local diocesan bishop. In that case, Bishop Fellay would be an "auxiliary" bishop.
I could be wrong, but that seems to be what they want ... to be recognized,
