  • A Great Tip: A Link to Access Liturgical Items

    [/u]Dear friends,

We had a funeral a few weeks ago at our Resistance chapel, and many people, especially newcomers, were amazed at the beautiful vestments and liturgical items that had been used during the ceremony. Even non-catholics were in awe, and it made them realize how a traditional Catholic ceremony can be gorgeous, even in a rented hall.

So I think it could be of assistance for our priests and faithful to know where we have been able to find these beautiful items. These include nice big brass candlesticks and reliquaries, copes, vestments for Mass, humeral veils,  funeral pall, and even books and much more.

The prices are amazingly reasonable, and the service is quick and reliable. Items arrive in good condition. They ship to the USA and Canada. Father has bought many, many things and is very happy.

I am not working for that outfit. I am doing this on behalf of Father, as he thinks it could be a great help in our fight for Tradition. This outfit is owned by a Traditional Catholic in the USA.

Here is the link to the home page:

Let us encourage these people. They need our support in order to stay in business. It would be a shame if they had to close their doors, and we would not know where to go in the future.

    God bless you all.

It looks like the first link I gave out is giving all prices in British pounds.

Although prices will convert to Canadian or US dollars if you click on the items, I thought I could give you another link that gives the US prices directly:

    Sorry for the possible inconvenience.

  • I'm all for beautiful liturgical items; but I can't look at them right now because my chapel is broke. Having read your post and the description of what your chapel has, it sounds like your chapel has plenty of people with jobs and "means". We're not so fortunate here in rural Texas. A bunch of our parishioners are old, barely making it, children, teens, unemployed twentysomethings, etc.

If any of you want to send a donation to my chapel, I'd be happy to go shopping on eBay and improve the equipment we have. I always want to; the money barely hits the bottom of the Building Fund donation can when I take it out and have something in mind to spend it on.

(Unlike the SSPX, which in many cases has sit on land and/or hundreds of thousands of dollars in the bank for YEARS, doing nothing with it)

We just took care of some building-related necessities (sidewalk, new A/C unit) so now that those necessities are covered, we can turn our attention to inside-the-chapel, altar improvements with the next money that comes in.
    Want to say "thank you"?
