  • In case you haven't noticed --

Both sides are putting their all into winning this war. On a monthly basis, countless battles are fought. Neither side is holding back ANYTHING of their resources, and that includes the SSPX.

The SSPX has marshalled everything they have -- Angelus Press, Regina Caeli House (District HQ), their most talented (and blindly loyal) priests, the written word, staged interviews, professionally mastered CDs, their mailing list, their legal department, their considerable treasure chest of money (for plane tickets, propaganda), etc. They are leveraging every advantage they have.

They'd love to marginalize or ignore their enemy (the Resistance), and they pretend to do so. But their actions belie their words. Their actions exclaim how fearful they are, and how much they respect their formidable foe. They are mustering everything they can, doing everything in their (considerable) power to fight the Resistance.

THEY think this is War. I hope the rest of us realize that.

Yes, and as the Resistance, organic as it is, is driving the debate based on the two-tier front of upholding the Truths of the Faith of our Fathers without any compromise, at the same time to hold the N-SSPX to be honest and accountable for there many ongoing scandals against us, that unfortunately, as the N-SSPX spends the donations that people give to them, it is not to apologize, but only to cover-up their compromises and scandals.

Their whole folly is wanting to adapt to conciliar Rome; by it, they have proved to the world that their compromises are beginning to "dissolve" Jesus Christ in the minds and hearts of the faithful, just like Vatican II.

That is quite a change and "new image" for them.  From once leading us in ABL's position of saying NO to the "silent apostasy", to now wanting to lead us in a position of saying YES to go into conciliar Rome's ecuмenical halls of  "silent apostasy"!

From the darkness of sin, God's Grace becomes hidden to the "fools" of men...

  • Revealing for me was the fact Fr N Pfluger mocked Bishop Williamson when the Bishop mentioned 'war' back in 1988 at the consecrations. It was part of the nasty letter sent to the Bishop.

It was hardly surprising Fr N Pfluger received a very cool reaction recently in Ireland.

What a poor understanding Fr Pfluger has of the struggle and reality we are all at war.

Even E. Michael Jones, who has got it wrong with regards the SSPX reminded the audience in Dublin a few years ago that Catholics have enemies and we are at war.

This may be war, but it's the Viet Nam war in the SSPX.

~  War has not been officially declared.

~  The enemy is not openly identified.

~  Casualties by 'friendly fire' are very common.

~  Soldiers are commanded not to attack the real enemy.

~  Ideologically, the enemy is beyond the turf of the war itself.

~  At the verge of victory, supplies are cut off and defeat ensues.

~  Longstanding principles of warfare are abandoned.

~  An abiding, secret interest in turning over authority to the enemy persists.

~  When questioned, leadership denies all these things.

~  Veterans returning from the war get no respect.

~  People at large are confused by propaganda reports on the war.

~  Historical revisionists are at work asserting the contrary of the truth.

~  Men in the trenches who have their own testimony to tell are ignored.

~  It has become a war of information.

  • How much easier it is to win a war when the other side doesn't even realize it exists or how long it has been going on, or when it even truly began...

The greatest victory is when the war is fought and won, and none but yours know.

After all, all that is necessary for a war to be won, is for the other side not to come to fight.
    Sincerely,

    Shin

  • The neoSSPX is waging a losing battle against the Truth.
    Ultimately, Msgr. Fellay will resign
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

And who would replace him? The SSPX is gone. It officially surrendered with the doctrinal declaration though had started it's surrender years ago. To give both priests and laity, the SSPX did state they were rebranding and seeking a new direction.

I hope so, like Benedict, but his replacement might be no better.

Indeed. Momentum was lost in getting rid of Bishop Fellay. He should of been removed. At this stage it matters little as the SSPX has compromised with Jєωs, the Modern world, Rome. The SSPX is no different to the FSSP.

It could redeem itself by a retraction and a clear declaration of the correct position, but it would take other actions, and years of consistency to regain the trust of many.

Given his blasphemy against the Mother of God and using the Holy Rosary to deceive both priests and laity, after resigning Bishop Fellay should face a tribunal and be made sign a profession of faith declaration and oath against modernism.

Also he must issue a public statement regarding the doctrinal declaration that has not been withdrawn.

Question:  Has anyone noticed, this is war?

    Answer:  I did, HERE.

    Quote from: I
    ...
If it's not too much trouble, please hand him this note of appreciation
and encouragement ~ although I know what you are doing is much
more significant. Still, a word of encouragement might make some
small difference. Also, I send him three Rosaries for his spiritual
    benefit. This is war.

Actually, I'd like to think that I'd be quick to forgive, and think the best -- both the SSPX and Rome itself.

I'd like to think I wouldn't be one of those who, after Rome converts, I decide to stay "on my own" and become the latest version of the Old Catholics. I honestly don't think I would do that. I've given this topic a lot of thought over the years.

I think I'd be quick to jump on the Trust bandwagon, if the SSPX/Rome ever converted. After all, I was one of the most fervent supporters of the SSPX in the "good old days", which is why I'm all the more pained to see them on their current path towards destruction.

  • Just remember that it is the SSPX who left the batlle field. The Resistence is now holding the front line. Our actitude of fight enlighten the real warriors as to where  the real catholics are. Our acts denounce the evil works of the surrendering to the enemy actitude os the SSPX, and for that reason we are shamefully attack by those who should be supporting us...

You imply or insinuate here, I wouldn't forgive either.
