  • Why don’t you reach out to Bishop Zendejas and see if he can provide the finances?
All help is welcome, obviously. If you know Bishop Zendejas and think that he could help, please take up the cause and promote it. This mission is entirely reliant on outside help. Similarly among other Resistance/Trad bishops/priests/faithful, whoever is in your sphere of influence. I have promoted it tirelessly among those I know... Fr Ortiz is the one who recommended these priests to our charity, and he works closely with Bishop Z.

Honestly though Plenus, if we recommend people to go to SSPX Masses, even on a "case by case basis", it's going to be difficult to motivate people to support them. Because by doing things like that we completely undermine the Truth of our position.

SSPX is morally equivalent to the Resistance by this logic.

I understand your position Tom. Others share it, like Frs Ortiz, MacDonald and Chazal for example. What this means is, that according to your logic, you will have much more success than I at motivating people to support the Nigerian Mission. Therefore, please help however you can. I will happily take a back seat if another can replace me and do a better job. It's all about giving glory to God and saving souls. Please God it will one day be a jewel in our own crown to have helped save many souls through this work of Catholic Tradition in Africa.

If you believe that my involvement in this is compromising the Resistance cause, please do not hesitate to send me a message if you want to take over or can suggest an alternative arrangement.

I don't think this is the way to uphold truth, and I don't think this is Catholic logic.

In 19th century France, for example, do you think you would have been exonerated by the episcopal authorities from not fulfilling your Sunday obligation because your only option for Mass was one of the countless liberal or Gallican priests? Do you think Pope Pius IX would have commanded you not to attend the Mass of Archbishop Darboy, for example?

I think that is a valid comparison? Gallicanism and Ultramontanism are not morally equivalent, nor were they before the First Vatican Council.
