Good progress has been made, as you can see from the photos and especially the video below. There are quite a few other videos on this YT channel also.
Here is the latest email from Fr Onuorah explaining the current state of the building works and what is required to get to the next stage. Please help if you can:
Greetings in Our Lord Jesus Christ my dear brother. Happy eve of the feast of All Saints. To the glory of God, and with the help of your generous donations we have been able to reach this stage in the Church building construction as I sent you in the pictures. We are eternally grateful to God and to you for your generous donations which have carried us along in the work. We are praying for you everyday both in the Holy Masses and other prayers. God will continue to bless you and reward you eternally through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen. However, Our funds have finished at this point. We are grateful for the much it was able to cover so far. Thanks be to God now and forever. And thank you a million times for your assistance. God bless you
. Meanwhile, at this stage now, when the remaining part of the Church is levelled with blocks by Monday next week please God, then the carpenter will finish covering the continuation pillars with planks/boards for casting with concrete, then we go over to another lintel chaining with Iron rods and decking the gallery with Iron rods and concrete. The estimated cost of the Iron rods for the next lintel chaining and decking of the gallery is about US$5,500. It will take about 300 bags of cement to cast the lintel chaining with concrete and decking of the gallery which will cost about US$2,500. The chippings stones about 50 tonnes, woods/planks, nails and bamboos to be used for the decking and lintel chaining will cost about US$2,500. Thank you so much for your assistance so far. May all the Saints in heaven whom we are celebrating tomorrow 1st November surround you all the days of your life and keep interceding for you that you may become one of the Saints in heaven hereafter. Amen. Be assured of our continued prayers for you. God bless you. Yours in Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Rev. Fr Joseph Onuorah.
