In the photos below you can see how well the building is progressing. However, it looks like coming to a halt for a few weeks before the next monthly contribution arrives from Australia. Can anyone else lend a hand? See details on how to give earlier in the thread. Here are the comments from Father Onuorah's email that has just arrived in my inbox:

On another note,  we thank God for the work in progress and thanks to you people for making it a reality for us. However, the funds/donation we received has finished. We thank God for the much it was able to go. I have been thinking whether to stop the already moving work or what? Hoping on God still,  how I wish the work continues nonstop throughout this month and next and the the year ahead, at least progressing gradually but steadily.

Here is a revised costing from Father Onuorah for the church building:

Thank you so much for your message my dear brother...  Hope you are fine today. Your suggestion is good.  I have taken time to work out the estimate to complete the Church building. The building is of 3 stages. From this stage now to the final block wall/concrete facial level will cost about US$15,000. This is the first stage needed now.
Then roofing is the second stage, and furnishings is the final stage. I will get the actual cost for the roofing in due course. Then after the roofing I will get the cost for the final furnishings.
I think that it is better to do the costing according to the stages so that it will not appear cuмbersome to anyone. The engineers also calculate it by stages as well to make it easier for the builder.
However if you want me to get all the costs to the final furnishings stage I will do that as well before the weekend runs out.
Thank you so much for your unwavering good will and efforts 👌.  May God keep rewarding you eternally through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Be assured of my continued prayers for you.
Send my kind regards to all.
God bless you.
Fr. Joseph Onuorah.

The total is so important to know, even a rough estimate, before you start.

4. Estimated cost of the project goes as follows:

From the level we are now to  completion of block work and concrete work leveling =$US17,000,

Roofing with wood = $US13,000,

Roofing with Iron =$US20,000,
