Here is an update on the progress of the building of the Resistance church in Nigeria. If you are able to help us bring it to completion, please see earlier in the thread for information on how to donate.

Greetings in Our Lord Jesus Christ my dear brother... Happy feast of St Catherine of Sienna today. Hope you are fine today.

As you can see in the pictures I sent you, the brick layer is laying more blocks on the walls to get the required level before the lintel chaining with Iron rods and concrete casting. You will also see the carpenters forming the window arcs for about 35 windows and arcs in the Church building. You will see where some of the window arcs are packed under the gallery. Once the brick layer is done with the leveling round the whole Church walls, then the iron bender will come and put the rods on the walls for the lintel chaining, after which the carpenters will fix the window arcs and use the wooden boards to cover the pillars and lintel and the lintel will be casted with concrete round the Church.

When all these are done, then the brick layer will continue the block walls to the final stage before parapet facial will be done. It is after the parapet facial that we will begin to talk about roofing. Gradually it is getting closer to the roofing level...

Yours in Our Risen Lord Jesus Christ,
Rev. Fr Joseph Onuorah.
