Anyway, to address the point that Lad made and Matthew makes quite often.
I am not at all judging the people who go to SSPX or Novus Ordo. In fact I am always very gentle and kind with them in real life.
The issue comes when we have to tell them the full truth when they ask about what is the will of God.
How can God will multiple trad groups each making some stupid point their dogma? Does that mean we should all be some mushy group "putting aside our differences". No! Obviously not!
You are confusing being kind to someone with standing by principles. They are not mutually exclusive.
Clearly God being good is going to have his remnant in one group, not multiple. He is going to leave "the light on" in one group, not many. Does this mean perfection on the part of those in it? Clearly not. As they are sinners. As Pope Alexander XI was having children with various woman and poisoning cardinals, does this mean the Church was any less the Church? Or any less holy?
So people should put aside Bishop Williamsons imperfections, and listen to what the person stands for. Their Sacramental actions. Bishop Williamson consecrated 7 bishops, in an age of Sacramental uncertainty and heresy. This is how we should judge the man. Not by his imperfections.
