Stephen K,
Deo Gratias for another possible vocation, I will be praying for you every day!
Keep on the armor of God, and take refuge in Our Lady's Immaculate Heart.
You're right, you are entering a battlefield!
all my best to you

Worry never helped anyone; it is prayer that works wonders!   Please do so for me as I enter that  battlefield.   Thank you and God bless.

Why subject yourself to unnecessary dangers just to get a seminary formation that at minimum will be questioned by the very souls you're looking to serve?
I'll pray you choose another seminary.

The ways of God are not our own, and we must pray that "Thy Will be done".

As I have advocated  on other threads, we know enough about this to say that this is a red light district until the mess gets sorted out, or not. There is no need to give any more details at present and make this into an ongoing internet scandal.

And for the potential seminarian who thinks that it is God's will for him to place himself willfully in a situation there is a possibility to be directly exposed to sin or undisciplined men and women is foolhardy and dangerous. Most certainly not God's will for a potential priest.

Mortification and self discipline are what is required in the whole of this situation.
We need to be concerned with the pearl of great price which we must zealously guard at all times. That sacred duty has nothing to do with the worldly adventures in Boston KY or in any of the other neo-traditional sects.

Stay at home, pray, avoid the gossip threads, and.....listen to some Wagner.  It is a much kinder path upon which to take your precious soul.

Wagner was rather pagan. I would prefer Gregorian chant or baroque.
