No video, but here are recordings from 1974 from a priest who was trying to wake people up about the new Mass -  you can down load to your phone or just listen online at your convenience.

Enjoy.

Laramie, I see you've taken some advice from one of the modernists, Terry Carroll...

I agree with this.  Stay far, far away from Terry Carroll and his ilk.

I've had a few cordial lengthy e-mail exchanges with him.  He has not offended me personally.  However, what he has done to CMTV, and the way he has directed that organization to be an arrogant blowhard against the Society, putting out hit piece after hit piece--and never a full explanatory docuмentary that COMPLETELY discusses where they stand--just reeks of insincerity and nasty, uncharitable thoughtlessness.

As I said tonight, the shell games of CMTV, liberal clergy, and Pope Francis' latest trick with the absolutions demonstrates to me that they are dishonest adverseries to the SSPX...who has been nothing but completely open and technical with everyone about who they are, what they believe, where they stand, and how they are legal, legitimate, and necessary.

The Mass said by the Society is just as illicit as the Mass said by Novus Ordo diocesan priests.  I am not in doubt that the Society's Mass is "irregular."  But I also AFFIRMATIVELY BELIEVE that the Novus Ordo Mass is even MORE irregular, if not worse.  And if I can therefore take my family to one of those dull, lackluster, unenthusiastic presentations of our Lord, then I can sure as heck take me and mine to a reverent Mass where the people actually care about it.

That's one way to look at it.

The thing that always get me with slander campaigns from CMTV and other "conservatives" against the SSPX, is that without SSPX, there would be no traditional Catholics for them to slander. They bite the proverbial hand in other words.

Consider if it were up to CMTV to preserve the faith in the 70s, there would be only the NO faith today - Carroll and co were obeying their NO bishops who denied jurisdiction and the TLM to the faithful would have folded like a wet blanket right along with the rest of the world and there would be no traditional Catholic faith left and no SSPX for them to slander.

By the way, where was Michael and Terry in 1968,69,70,71 etc. when the chaos of the revolution was going on? Heck, it wasn't till what 10 years ago Voris supposedly "woke up" and started "exposing lies and falsehoods" that he helped promote his whole life - and still is.

Understood.

I know you are not there yet, but I would seriously consider investigating the ordination of the particular SSPX priest that will be assisting at the Mass you plan on attending.  If he was ordained in the New Rite/the bishop who ordained him was consecrated in the New Rite, then that TLM is just as valid as any diocesan TLM.  There was a time when you can bank on SSPX priests being ordained in the Old Rite...not so anymore.
