    • Neither traditional catholics in general nor the SSPX in particular have anything (as regards to a "deal" with neo-rome) to get on their "collective" knees before BXVI.  That is something reserved for Jesus Christ and sins against Him, but not to someone who has consistently abused his authority.  After all BXVI is only a vicar (maybe).

    If Benedict is truly the Bishop of Rome (that is to say, if he is a true Pontiff on account of not being a manifest heretic), then yes, every member of the SSPX ought to kiss his feet without hesitation.

    Furthermore.....if Benedict is "truly" the Bishop of Rome, then he and his predecessors have personally widened the road to Heaven and permanently shut down the road to Hell.

    Simply....we ALL go to Heaven!!

    Surely as an act of devotion and humility, but not out of repentance .

    Fr. Z hates His Holiness far more than any so-called "trad" ever will - friends don't let friends speed down the wide road.
