  • SERAPHIM:

You stated on another thread that you personally confirmed with Bishop Williamson that He himself conditionally re-ordained Fr. Voight:

    Quote from: Seraphim

    CI-

I just heard back from Bishop Williamson on this matter.

I can confirm that His Lordship personally conditionally ordained Fr Voigt according to the traditional rite or ordination.

I think this is important to highlight as there seems to have been much dispute about this.

BTW - Fr. Pfeiffer confirmed this when he was last here, although he did not mention who the Bishop was or when it was done.[/b]

  • Thank you AveMarisStella for posting that because otherwise I wouldn't have known about this. I defended Fr Voigt in the past because I trusted his word but it is much better to know everything clearly. And next time let's hope that people will not be so quick in judging. Probably Fr Voigt didn't wanted to tell the name of the Bishop because he wanted to protect him from the punishments of Menzingen or something like that. He prefered to be slandered by many people and to protect Bp Williamson from Menzingen, I think. Sometimes, silence can be heroic.

Father Bolduc wouldn't have even entertained the notion of inviting him out to Saint Michael's unless he were reordained. I had no doubt when I learned that he was already out at Saint Michael's that he was totally legit.

I really like him a lot.
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

My Avatar is Fr. Hector Bolduc. He was a faithful parish priest in De Pere, WI,

    Correct.
