I really appreciate the sense of humor on this site, and I like to give credit to the English for it. But, I don't see the humor in this. Are you accusing posters on another site of mental illness, are you accusing those with mental illnesses of not being able to post. Does this have something to do with the use of thorazine..

Wow! That's two miracles! The first one was when JPII appeared in the fires of... errr... heaven!

And a third "miracle" possibly relates to Assisi I........

I concur with your compassion for those afflicted with mental illness. It has been my own experience with a few folks I've know, when visiting them in psychiatric facilities, that they are suffering just as deeply as any other folks I've visited in regular hospitals.

Be assured, I meant nothing disparaging against truly ill folks. The comment was simply a "device" to stick it to exceedingly exclusivist know-it-all types out to attack anyone and everything not in absolute conformity with their pet theory, idol or purely imaginary supernatural idiosyncrasies.

And while I shall keep in mind your kind remarks on behalf of the victims of chronic and acute mental illness, allow me one observation. I always tried to bring a bit of humor to the patients I visited in psychiatric falcilities. It seemed to help.

And on punishments from God, I am never unmindful how many I personally deserve. In this case, in France, I think it might be a touch of "divine sarcasm" ( look it up, it happens!, it's in the bible! ) at work.
