It looks to be pneumonia or bronchitis.
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

I watched the first part of his sermon from yesterday and thought he wasn't looking (or sounding) well.

  • It could very well be his illness is due to allergies.  The pollen is especially heavy in the northeast this year and he has been spending quite of bit of time in that region lately.

"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • Everyone I know around here has caught some viral thing that transforms into bronchitis; it's rifled through every family we know around here.  Most likely nothing to be the least bit concerned about.

  • We sat behind Fathers Pfeiffer and Hewko at Fr. Gruner's funeral Mass.  I observed that he seemed a little off, and presumed it was extreme fatigue for obvious reasons.
In retrospect to this news, and knowing how bronchitis /pneumonia operates due to the sufferings of a close family member, I think it's onset was beginning.

There's a good product that this family member uses that helps him tremendously.  If anyone connected to Father would like the information, please PM me.
