Title: Fr. Pfeiffer attempted takeover of Fr. Kings missions
Post by: JimD on February 18, 2017, 03:01:50 PM
Fr. Pfeiffer is in England and has invited himself one of the "Northern Missions" (see. https://respicestellam.wordpress.com/the-northern-mission/). Fr. King has refused to meet him and is staying away from The Liverpool mission tomorrow. This means that the Mass is going to be celebrated by Fr. Pfeiffer. This is pretty much a hostile takeover of the mission.

It is all getting ridiculous. What is the purpose of Fr. Pfeiffer's travelling? Who is teaching his "seminarians"? It is becoming a farce I am sorry to say.

Dear Fr Hewko,

This is in answer to your "word on the Street" report of a reported "Hostile Takeover" in Liverpool.

I am pleased to report that the Hostile Takeover is going well. We had 13 souls on Ignatian Retreat in Wales (devils complained of the Hostile takeover around the time of the general confessions of 5 hours duration. Due to contract requirements on our side details not to be released until the General Judgment. There are rumors that many reports of Hostile takeovers of a similar nature may be flooding the airwaves at that time. After the Retreat ended Saturday I went to visit some Faithful nearby in the resistance parish in Liverpool I established 3 years ago in early 2014. Fr King has been taking care of it most excellently for almost 2 years now. He will be celebrating His usual Mass later this Sunday evening on schedule so far as I know. Fr King wished myself and all retreatants well on our rereat and seems to be doing well in his Northern England Parishes. In Liverpool Mass was celebrated in the same hotel and same room where we celebrated the Masses multiple times 2 and 3 years ago. It was good to see some of the Faithful again. They appreciate very Much Fr King's faithful and good care of their souls during these past almost 2 years and hopefully for many years to come. I will celebrate Mass today in London and in Suffolk. The Hostile Takeover was inimical to the Devils in Liverpool. We fully support Fr King’s efforts to complete the hostile takeover of the Liverpool Mission from the clutches of the Devil. Must get back into the battlefield. Over and out,

In Christ the King,

Fr Joseph Pfeiffer

I hope nobody actually thinks this is a serious post. It is parody.

The answer of Fr. Pfeiffer to Fr. Hewko is genuine and he said it could be spread publicly.

If you think it’s not “a serious post,” we can say the same thing about the post of JimD, who called Fr. Pfeiffer’s visit to the Liverpool mission “a hostile takeover.”

Please excuse me if my english is not so good.

It is clearly a fake, for the following reasons:

It is written in such a bizarre fashion with a strange sense of humour (the way the author refers to hostile takeover). Talking about the rest of the resistance as the devil is another example. Father Pfeiffer would not do that. He is better than that. Also, childish language such as "over and out". It is clearly designed to discredit him.

Sorry, but we can't take this "letter" seriously.

I can think of someone who might be capable of writing such a fake and not get in trouble for it.

BTW more clues: "clutches of the Devil" and "Must get back into the battlefield."

You must not have ever met Fr. Pfeiffer.

He does indeed have a very good sense of humor and writes this way, as does Fr. Chazal also.

I would not be in the least bit surprised if the letter is authentically his and there is no scandal to be found between he and Fr. King, as stated.

The "sense of humor" is reminiscent of previous American stand-up comics.

I have not ever seen Father Peiffer write or send a letter to Father Hewko. He could call him primarily, perhaps even exclusively. The phone is Father's main means of contact. The letter's writing is also off in its voicing, This letter is more than likely bogus, a complete fabrication.

The letter is not from Father Pfeiffer, and I doubt it is from Pablo, as I have seen many of Pablo's writings in the last three years. None of the syntax matches well with either Pablo or Father Pfeiffer.

I have very strong doubts as to the veracity of this letter. If Father Pfeiffer had something to tell Father Hewko, he would call him. He would not write a letter or email. I am certain of this point.

But, it's better to post as a letter on a forum than a phone call.. I believe he meant for the message to be disseminated amongst the resistance forums. I can easily imagine Fr P using these words, whether he wrote or dictated them. I agree that it doesn't sound like Pablo.

Honestly this is becoming a total waste of time over a whole lot of nothing; and I can only believe that this mischief,  comes from devil!

And having met both Frs. Pfeiffer and Chazal - it is the latter priest who has the sense of humour.

Many prayers are needed!!

It could be genuine. But they should post it on an official website so that people can know for certain. Or write to Matthew.

To the false JimD from the real JimD (from a post at Cor Mariae):

Statement by the real JimD

Someone using the name " JimD " made a post on cathinfo about Fr Pfeiffer's brief visit to Liverpool last Saturday night 18 February.

My name is also Jim D.... and I want to make it clear that I had nothing to do with it.
It is a fictitious post by someone probably masquerading as JimD in an attempt to make mischief.
This is intolerable in a Catholic group because the good names of innocent people may be unjustly tarnished

I attended Fr Pfeiffer's Mass on Saturday night and Fr King's Mass on Sunday. The facts are these;
Fr Pfeiffer did not invite himself. A window of opportunity presented itself following the retreat in Wales, and we were all delighted his visit materialised, and that he made the effort to see us after nearly three years since he ministered to us as the first resistance priest in Liverpool.

Fr Pfeiffer's Mass was on Saturday evening. Fr King is never in Liverpool at that time so could not have made it had he wanted to.
I know Fr Pfeiffer was keen to meet but their paths never crossed.

Fr. King's weekly Mass took place as planned on Sunday in Liverpool, without any disruption.

It is fiction to say Fr Pfeiffer's visit was a hostile takeover of the Liverpool mission. I attended Fr Pfeiffer's Mass on Saturday night and Fr King's on Sunday evening and nothing of the sort happened

Fr Pfeiffer's report of his visit published on cathinfo was genuine, and an accurate reflection of the Liverpool resistance Mass centre, with the possible exclusion of his devilish humour !

I notice that respice stellam is referred to. This seems puzzling because although the site briefly refers to Fr King and his northern mission they have never published the dates of his Masses.
It is the Recusant web site that has done that for nearly two years!

The facts outlined above beg the question ;
Who made this totally fictitious post and why.?
It is so obviously false, why do it and why use a name the local congregation would indentify as one of their own?

If the perpetrator has any sensus catholicus left in them they would own up to what was a blatant attempt to deceive and mislead priests and laity, and blacken someone's name.
There's only one place those actions come from and it's not from God.

As happens in cases like this, the finger of suspicion is now being pointed, and will be unjustly tarnishing the names of innocent people.

I therefore request, for the sake of charity and justice in a Catholic group, that the person responsible owns up and failing that, the proprietor of cathinfo provides information that will identify the person.

This is not a witch hunt, it's an attempt to stop the finger pointing and damage to the good names of innocent people, injured by an I'll conceived prank.

If the person is identified, they can be forgiven and we can move on, and more importantly the finger of suspicion will no longer be pointed at innocent people, which is toxic in a small congregation.

In Fr King's sermon last Sunday he said that people are entitled to defend their good name.
This response is an attempt to defend
The good names of those injured as a result of a silly prank.

Jim D....
Member of the Liverpool resistance Mass centre of Fr King

I am also someone who attends Father King's Mass in Liverpool. I agree with the real JimD that the outrageous statement made by the fake Jim D can cause alot of trouble and he was correct to make this statement to clear the air. Anyone who knows Jim D obviously knew that he did not make the original "hostile takeover "post.

Here in Liverpool/Southport we are very fortunate to have Father King to say Mass for us almost on a daily basis. He is a very humble and gentle priest.

Father King has only recently  announced at Mass that he is an independent priest. He is not associated with any particular group.

For those not from the UK,the Liner hotel was originally used by the SSPX for Masses in 2010 when a lay person negotiated a deal with the Hotel to hire it. Father King was one of the SSPX priests  who was saying Mass in the Liner all that time ago and now he finds himself saying Mass here at the Liner for those resisting.

We are very fortunate to have such a good, calm and holy priest.

God Bless

We don't doubt you are blessed with a good priest.

And if you want to keep it that way, heed our warnings to cut the talismanic "dialogue" with Father Pfeiffer.

You Brits love to joke about the Yanks, but if the relationship grows between your chapel and the wayward KY priest, a truly sad joke... is going to be on you.

I can assure you that there is no dialogue with Father Pfeiffer.

Father King has only met him once.

Father Pfeiffer  came only to visit those faithful who invited him there. It was purely a social visit. I am not one of those faithful. I have never even met him.

I can assure you also that 95% of the people who attend Father King's Mass are there because of Father King only.

Father Pfeiffer has little or no impact here.

God Bless
