From the priest's Facebook account.:

With regard to the validity of his ordination, it's nothing personal. Some of us, for various theological reasons, consider the new Rite of Ordination and/or Episcopal Consecration to be positively doubtful ... and have believed this long before Father Kramer graced this forum.
If the forum is so disreputable, why does Father Kramer stoop to posting here?
As for the lady who commented that some of the members here are "beneath contempt," we could compile quotations from Father Kramer made here on the forum that make even the worst of us look rather tame. I wonder what she would say about those.

The odd phraseology designed to suggest it was Matthew who made the accusation is beyond scuмmy.

I'll be the first to admit that I doubt his ordination and do not consider him a certainly valid priest. It was good to hear that the bishop who ordained him was consecrated in the Old Rite, but I still entertain doubts with the New Rite of Ordination despite that fact. I think "Father" Kramer needs to admit that the only reason why anyone questioned his priesthood was because he was condemning others for the way he was being treated here as a priest. Although I wasn't involved in the tit for tat, his comments were certainly not befitting of a Catholic priest.

I dunno, having a Masters of Divinity degree from what was certainly a 100% Novus Ordo college and seminary by 1988 is not something I would think a trad priest would want to advertise, rather, it something that should be used as evidence that he studied and is degreed in NO theology.

Well, yes, I knew someone who had a M.Div. from a Novus Ordo (Jesuit) University (Loyola Chicago) to whom I had to explain in basic detail who St. Thomas Aquinas was. I'm not interested in a Novus Ordo degree one way or another, but in the person's arguments and his intellect. Now, getting advanced degrees in Rome before Vatican II, that actually meant something.

Had he never come onto Cathinfo and revealed what he is really like by his nonstop, kneejerk insults, no one would have known anything about him personally, other than he is an author of many books, articles, and tapes. That's all I knew of him before he discredited himself on Cathinfo.
Catholics and priests have been tortured by having their fingers eaten by squaws, their breast hung from hooks, they've been eaten by lions, pierced with arrows, decapitated, boiled in oil, burnt by fire etc. and all without a complaint. Meanwhile, here we have this Don Paolo complaining that he was treated meanly on Cathinfo. Go figure.

I have met Fr. Paul Kramer on several occasions and dined with him once as he frequently lodges in the house of the landlady of my best friend who is a Trad and lodged therre. I would visit when he was over. Fr. Kramer has had a hard life over the years and the last time I saw him was in pretty poor physical health. I think the continous focus on Fatima, prophecy and apocalyptic visions has worn him down, as he tends to see every tsunami, earthquake, act of clerical apostacy, as the sign of the end. He has made multiple predictions, forecasts and speculations as to the fulfillment of Fatima that did not come to pass over the past twenty years. Usually when this happens to people they get very worn down by it.
I keep Fr. Kramer in my prayers and particularly pray he lives to see the fullfilment of Fatima. I can imagine him dying a happy death the day after.

It's a really nice thing for you to do - to keep Fr. Kramer in your prayers. I'll do the same.
