I suspect Schmidberger, who arrived in Econe with some Seminary years under his belt in Germany. His teacher in Germany was none other than Father Ratzinger (future BXVI). The 2012 management is still at the helm of Neo-SSPX. Their goal is the same now than it was then. Only the method is different. As you say: It is a long process of manipulation and brain washing.

Oh, truly? I have never heard this. I had heard that he was a sedevacantist before joining the SSPX? I was in the seminary in 1988/89 and I really revered Fr Schmidberger... and so many other priests who showed me a side of them that I had never seen prior to 2012... so sad, just as it must have been for Archbishop Lefebvre when he discovered the real Cardinal Lienart at Vatican II. God have mercy on them all and reward them for the great good they have done nonetheless.

Yes. It is interesting you would see the mark of Free Masonry in the way the Neo-SSPX management has been acting for 30 years or so. There is a lady who is a parishioner of Fr. Girouard in one of his missions. She has often recalled an incident she witnessed when a student in St. Mary's, Kansas, around 1990. She was at the foot of a staircase, when Bp. Fellay, and then Academy Director Fr. Ramon Angles, were coming down the stairs. They were both talking French, thinking nobody could understand. But that young lady was perfectly bi-lingual. Bp. Fellay was saying: "Isn't that funny I would become a bishop of Tradition, while I come from a family with a long lineage of Free Masons?" And they both laughed.

It doesn't mean Bp. Fellay is or was a Free Mason, of course. But it still means he grew up among relatives who were FM, and this for generations. And he knew about it. And he surely must have been influenced by the way his relatives talked and acted, and by their philosophy. They must have talked, in his presence, about the good "charitable" work their FM lodges were doing. They must have talked about the Great Architect and Solomon's Temple. Maybe they even took him to visit a Lodge. And, amid all this, he must have seen them as good people who loved him. He must have looked at them as normal folks. It is almost impossible to grow up as a child, and as a young adult, without being deeply influenced by your family. He may not be a Free Mason himself, but his personality and philosophy must have been shaped by his entourage.
