In a recent video Fr Jenkins of the SPV stated that it was Bergoglio, not Fellay, who was the obstacle to a deal being signed. While Bergoglio may have been kind to the SSPX in Buenos Aires, he was also kind to the Muslims there and very friendly indeed with other religious groups and communities. A certain such community stands far out concerning his friendship.
Yesterday I saw that there was a thread up and running at Suscipe Domine on a certain Paul Touvier ( and his relationship with the SSPX).
It may well be that the Bouchacourts will have to swallow more than canaries to get a deal from Bergoglio.
