Fr. Pagliarani ascends as the titular head of the neo-SSPX
« on: July 12, 2018, 05:45:04 PM »
The following photo is telling.

What we have is neo-SSPX window dressing.  A new face, with no power.

The Menzingen brotherhood have their face-man, but will still run the show, especially negotiations with newChurch.

The "Argentine trio" for the Argentine pope? Mons. De Galarreta is Spanish-Argentine,
Fr. Bouchacourt was superior of the district in Argentina, and Fr. Pagliarani was, until now,
director of the Argentine seminary of the FSSPX.

Election of the General Assistants
The new Superior General of the Fraternity Saint Pius X, Father Davide Pagliarani, with the other 40 members of the Chapter, decided to proceed with the election of the two General Assistants this afternoon.

The first elected Assistant was Monsignor Alfonso de Galarreta, auxiliary bishop of the Fraternity of St. Pius X, of Spanish nationality. He was ordained a priest in 1980 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he lived for many years. He directed the Seminary of Our Lady Co-redemptrix of La Reja (Argentina), as well as the Autonomous House of Spain and Portugal. He was also second assistant from 2002 to 2006. He currently resides in the city of Geneva (Switzerland).

Father Christian Bouchacourt, a French national, was elected as second general assistant. Aged 59, he was ordained a priest by Monsignor Lefebvre in 1986. He worked for many years in Paris, particularly in the Church of Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet; he was superior of the district of South America, and since 2014 he was superior of the district of France.
With these elections, the General Chapter will be able to start treating, from tomorrow, the many issues to be studied until next July 21st.

Ecône, to July 11, 2018

Let me guess!...A Superior General and a Superior General "Emeritus"?    :)

This is important, and a very good catch.

WAY too much to be a coincidence. SSPX wants to go back to Rome so bad they can taste it -- so much so, that they elected an Italian superior general. But wait -- the current Pope isn't Italian, he's Argentinian. No matter, we'll just elect the most Argentinian priests we have, and those with experience in Argentina!

If this isn't a hand-picked group calculated to BRING TO FRUITION the deal with Rome, I don't know what is.

Undoubtedly, you’re right. The Argentine connection is firmly established now. This orchestrated outcome sends a clear message to Bergoglio, viz. “We belong to you now.”
I hope that the good bishop adresses the issue soon. SSPX is toast. But then I’ve been saying that for years. Now it remains for Bp. Williamson to acknowledge the fact.

Fr. Bouchacourt's face, you can read like a book. He looks like the cat who swallowed the canary.

Bp. de Galarreta appears still affected by his failed oversight of Fr. Albert's fake Dominican order.

And the young Fr. Pagliarani. He'll follow the script given to him.

He will act out the SG role, while following the predetermined Argentinian/Bergolion map to newRome.
