It wouldn't be safe to assume either one...he preached the seminarian retreat in Boston in 2015, and yet told the Nigerian seminarian that he should go to France, i.e., go to Bp. Faure's seminary. Yet he went on the attack of Bp. Williamson's comments regarding the New Mass, and is still tending to a former Canadian mission of Boston, KY. So you could read his position in either way it seems.

We had a visit from Father a few months back. He had his own opinions formed by years in Tradition, with great common sense, and intends to stay true to the values of ABL. He debunked Sean Johnson (the theologian of the Resistance?) with ease using common sense rather than theological nuances (Sean will dispute this of course).

He disagreed with Bishop Williamson's approach to the woman in New York and was not afraid to say so.

He was going to visit the Boston Seminary and when he learned of the seriousness of the Ambrose situation, he decided not to go to Boston.

He observed that North America was getting fewer Masses due to the new direction of OLMC and, despite being based in Ireland and helping out in Australia, has offered Masses for the Resistance in North America.

Father seems to have a great interest in the souls of the people that he comes across and actively promotes the various Third Orders.
