It must have been great to have Padre Pio around.
Someone who could tell someone else what course to take in life that would please God.
Even when that someone is another priest.

Fr. Villa's book, Paul VI: Beatified?, stopped the process of beatification dead in its tracks.
But what's happening this month, the putative canonization of the same, wicked, Paul VI?
Before the Newchurch got ahold of the process, there used to be an Advocatus Diaboli.
But the Freemasons active in Newchurch took the devil's advocate out of the way.

Therefore, Fr. Villa's book essentially did the job that the devil's advocate would have done, if it hadn't been removed.
