  • I have not followed the controversy between Rev Kramer and a CathInfo member but it brought this question to my attention. According to the Internet he was 'ordained' in the doubtful new rite. Has he been ordained or ordained sub conditione since?

  • No, he has not.  At least, not to my knowledge.

  • Thank you. I dislike tipping over  what I fear is a whole bee-skep of bitter controversy but the truth is better known than scandals concealed. He then was 'ordained' in the new rite, which e.g. Archbishop Lefebvre insisted on sub conditione ordination, thus it seems to be inaccurate to term him a Resistance priest given that they aren't certainly valid ,-- his Masses may thus be invalid.

I am not a sedevacantist (privately I think that as I haven't the theological education to distinguish material from formal heresy I consider it as unsolved?) but this is  well argued.

Yes, he morphed into a Resistance leader didn't he?

We always have to watch-out for the dialectic mechanism of another "controlled opposition" agenda.
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • A second perusal of the Calefactory article, unless refuted, is quite sufficient to state that the New Rites of Ordination and Consecration are downright invalid and thus Rev. Kramer (intended no more than a courtesy, Mr Kramer) is no priest.
