I knew him at seminary.  While I applaud the effort, what the heck is he doing by saying that he hopes to be classified as an “essential service”.  That is to basically concede the state’s position that they can violate constitutional rights if you’re not an “essential service”?

Yeah, the SSPX speaks the Masonic vernacular.

They should speak like the Holy Pope Pius IX on the Curch’s rights.  Of course, the state is so judaized, it could not comprehend this language.

But all the same, it sounds like the SSPX is showing “some” leadership, we hope.

Wow and Wow!
WHen did Father become a yankee?
Yeah, an Aussie turned Yankee?
It must mean, not all Yankees are bad.
:cowboy:

Constitutional rights, in the first place, are not all based on natural law so there is no intrinsic violation of a person's liberty if they are superseded for a greater good.
As for Father using this language in his legal battle then that is not a concession of anything. He has to fight this legal battle in the court of his opponents, using the law methodology of his opponents, and through a judge put in place by his opponents. Thus using this legal jargon is to be very expected and does not necessitate such a conclusion as you stated.

Let us be charitable, please.
Using legal language in a legal battle is not "masonic vernacular."

Yes, charity... I need more of it.

But still there are many examples where the SSPX too easily adopts to ʝʊdɛօ-masonic, world friendly concepts.

Usury (interest bearing loans paid by their faithful), Branding and even dialogue with Destroyer Pope’s are some examples.

BTW, Governor Abbot of Texas just backed down after being sued by St. Jude’s Shrine and 19 other plaintiffs.
