Not only is this a great sermon for the 24th chapter of St. Matthew, the
24th and Last Sunday after Pentecost, and the first sermon I've ever
heard given on Saturday on the day before the first Sunday of Advent,
but it's probably the best sermon I've ever heard for the last Sunday
of the liturgical year.  And it's not even given on a Sunday!  


I don't know if we are appreciating what level of oratory we have in
this fine preacher and every sermon he gives.  We had better start
appreciating him because when people do not appreciate God's gifts
He has a penchant for taking them away from us.
