Fr Onuorah, together with Fr Chigbata and Fr Nduefuna are firmly attached to the bishops of the Resistance.

If Fr Hewko, Greg Taylor and their friends wish to support the Nigerian mission, I would say Glory be to God. I'm sure they will leave their politics of the past out of the missions.

I hope that is the case but I'm confused as to what to think/believe regarding this. It would be good to have some clarity on the matter as this letter has caused a lot of confusion for many.

Really? Wherein lies the confusion? Some people seem to want to create confusion and controversy where none exists.

Do you think most of the Resistance agreed with Bishop Williamson's comments on the New Mass, regarding which he subsequently admitted being mistaken? https://www.cathinfo.com/sspx-resistance-news/bishop-williamson-admits-mistake-re-public-comments-on-nom-attendance-in-2015/

One does not have to agree with the comments made at the time by Bishop Williamson in order to disagree with the outrageous reaction from Frs Pfeiffer, Hewko and Greg Taylor and company.

Let's leave these Nigerians out of this unsavoury piece of history.

Obviously, Fr Onuorah has not just joined the Resistance. He has been with it for years: a protege of Fr Ortiz, and a spiritual son of Bishop Thomas Aquinas OSB.

I agree with what you've said there and apologies not for clarifying further.

In the latest issue of the Recusant (a Hewkoite publication) they've claimed Fr Onuorah has joined them so some of us are confused about how correct this claim actually is

In other words, my issue is not with the letter itself but how it has been presented by the Recusant and whether there are truths to the implications thereof.
