"It is impious to say, 'I respect every religion.' This is as much as to say: I respect the devil as much as God, vice as much as virtue, falsehood as much as truth, dishonesty as much as honesty, Hell as much as Heaven."

  • This is a sermon that boys should hear when they want to know if

God is calling them to study for the priesthood.  This is a sermon

given on the Feast of St. Francis Xavier S.J., who spoke the words

of the glory of God to pagans in India and in Japan, and they heard

his voice and they were converted and they asked to be baptized.

This sermon has the power to touch the heart of a boy who has a

vocation, and move him to do what is necessary for his entry into

the seminary, so that he may do what is necessary to become

ordained, so that he can go out and give souls what they need to

turn their eyes to God and to give their love to God.  Because it is

love of the heart of man that God most desires.  And if a boy has

what it takes to give souls what they need to turn their hearts to

God and be baptized and to believe and in the end to be saved,

then the boy needs to hear this sermon.  This sermon would be a

very good gift for such a boy, a great gift for Christmas!

     I completely agree
"Wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it. Right is right even if no one is doing it"

    St. Augustine

"Even if Catholics faithful to Tradition are reduced to a handful, they are the ones who are the true Church of Jesus Christ"

    Saint Athanasius
