So Fr. Couture, you continue to deceive the faithful. You tell the faithful in Manila that you are still willing to thresh things out with Fr. Pfeiffer & Fr. Chazal but you make threats to the faithful in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, & Korea telling them not to receive Fr. Chazal & Fr. Pfeiffer, not to attend their Masses, to stay away from them. You are telling the poor faithful that you & the other priests are charitable towards Fr. Pfeiffer & Fr. Chazal but you are breaking down doors, making threats, & throwing them out of chapels! Where is your charity and where is truth in all your threats & harsh words??? You wanted the deal as much as Fellay & his cronies wanted it because you produced & signed the 6 conditions. And now you still muzzle the priests in your district & yet you say that we are back to square one??? When I return to Asia, say it to my face! Because if the deal is truly dead then why do you still keep your priests in a muzzle and why are you breaking down doors and making threats against the faithful??? You lie & deceive all of us!!! And I have had it!!!

As long as Bp.Fellay do not retract these 6 conditions it is clear that SSPX will compromise the FAITH to go back to the Concilliar Church. THAT IS CERTAIN.

We are not going back now, not because of Bp. Fellay. It is because Pope Benedict XVI will not accept ambiguity and nor can we. We know where we stand and so does ROME. It is Bp. Fellay and all the liberal priest in Neo-SSPX that wants to keep this FACT away from the public.

If Bp. Fellay will not compromise the FAITH then there should not be any conditions. This is not a no-string attach deal. No matter what they say...their persecutions against us continues.

I apologise for placing this post so long after the event which took place in Sydney on 18 August 2012 but I was asked by a fellow blogger to place it as it may throw some light on why +BF informed 100 professors and seminarians on 7 Sept. 2012 at Econe that "I had been deceived by PBXVI and now all 6 conditions are sine qua non".

According to a talk given by Frs Pfeiffer and Chazal on 3 October 2012 which is on YouTube this sudden change in +BF's behaviour came as a result of a letter he received from PBXVI on 30 June 2012 (prior to the General Chapter) which basically said that the SSPX had to accept Vatican II.

I have placed below an excerpt from some Notes I made of that Sydney Conference. We all had to endure over two and a half hours of monotone from +BF before he called for a brief (20 Min) question time:

QUESTION TIME (12.40)

When he (+BF) said towards the end of the conference (about 12.30) words to the effect: “That a lot of people were waiting for the Pope to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Well I can tell you that when he does “Nothing will happen”.”

I almost fell off my chair. I almost jumped up straight away however I thought I should wait to see if there were any more shocks.

Then he later on said:

“We will lose one bishop and a number of priests.”

I immediately jumped up with my hand up to ask a question and he just ignored me for at least 5 minutes. And then he asked for questions.

My question and what followed went something like this:

“Your Excellency, I was prepared to accept just about everything you said until you said with respect to the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary that nothing will happen. Can you please explain why?”

B.F. “You obviously misunderstood what I said.”

LM: “Then would you please explain to us precisely what you meant.”

B.F. “Certainly. Of course, Russia will be converted and there will be a period of peace for the Church but it won’t happen straight away. It will happen gradually. God does not bring about change instantly it will be a gradual process.” He continued for 5 mins. with more of this type of explanation.

LM: “Thank you Your Excellency for indicating that you will be communicating better in future. I wrote to you on 14 June 2012 asking if you took any notice of laypeople. I sent the letter to you by fax and by post andyou never responded. Perhaps I can look forward to a reply now. I have one more question. You did not mention in your talk that you had written a letter to Rome setting out 6 conditions. Three of these conditions being Sine Qua Non (ie essential) and three of them being Desirable/Not essential. I understand that one of these non-essential conditions was that “you desired that the SSPX not be put under the jurisdiction of the Diocesan Bishops.” Would you care to comment?

B.F. “I do not understand your question.”

LM REPEATS THE QUESTION. “I said almost exactly the same words. Have you written such a letter to Rome?”

B.F. “Yes.”

LM: “Would you not agree that if the SSPX is brought under the jurisdiction of the Diocesan Bishops that this will cause the Fragmentation of the Society?”

B.F. “No.”

LM: “The Faithful will not accept being placed under the jurisdiction of the Diocesan Bishops …”

LADY (whom I have never seen before) AGGRESSIVELY INTERJECTED FROM THE AUDIENCE

Lady: “You do not speak for the Faithful…you only speak for yourself.”

LM: “Thank you. I can assure you I speak to a lot of the Faithful who are concerned about this very thing.”

I thought “I don’t want to get involved in an unseemly shouting match with this aggressive woman and that as I had asked the one question that is VITAL for a lot of laypeople to know there was no point in asking him any more questions.”

LM: “Thank you Your Excellency. I have no more questions.”

There were about 5 other people who asked questions but the majority just sat there apparently quiet happy to be fed a lot of ‘spin’…and they applauded B.F…IT WAS AS IF THEIR BRAINS WERE NOT FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY and did not understand that he basically admitted IT WAS A DONE DEAL.

An elderly layperson (not me) asked one of the best questions which indicated that he could not see the point in signing an agreement with Rome as he said “The Society has 560 priests now…how many will it have in 20, 30, or 40 years time?”.. I checked with him later and he said that “We should not be signing an agreement with Rome as the Society will just disappear if it is put under the Diocesan Bishops”.

By the way another prominent layperson told me the week before “If the Society is placed under the jurisdiction of the Diocesan Bishops then I will leave.”

Before he said that he was giving me a lecture as to how important it was that we obey Bishop Fellay and that we support him so I asked him 3 times if he had read the 6 conditions that were in a letter B.F. sent to Rome …he refused to answer…so I told him about the Desirable/Non Essential condition: “The Society be exempt from the control of the Diocesan Bishops” and suggested that it was hardly likely to be agreed to as the Society put it as a Non-Essential condition.

Almost everyone I spoke to before and since has agreed that if this is not made ESSENTIAL then the SSPX is finished!

In my opinion it is Suicidal for the SSPX for +BF to be engaged in these discussions with Modernist Rome. The Tragedy for the SSPX is that +BF announced to the world that there was likely to be a split in the SSPX and yet he continued on his Suicidal Mission. Now many good SSPX priests who oppose 'the deal' are being sidelined, disciplined, suspended, persecuted and/or expelled...What on earth inspired him to go down this path which is against what the General Chapter clearly said 6 years ago i.e. No practical agreement with Rome until there is a doctrinal agreement?

What specifically were the threats made to the faithful? I heard about the advice made to the people not to attend the Masses of Frs. Chazal and Pfeiffer, but as far as I know, no one who attended the 'illicit' Masses have been thrown out of chapels.

With regards to the breaking down of doors, does this confirm that Fr. Onoda was indeed locked out of the chapel by some of the Korean faithful after the declaration on the (now defunct) sspx.kr website to break communion with Fr. Onoda? Looks like there are many untold stories regarding the drama in the Asian District.
