Matthew quote:
I don't know why someone like Fr. Doran doesn't sign up for CathInfo to let the Trad world know how he's doing.
Does any know if Msgr. Fellay makes his priests sign a Non Disclosure Agreement, in case they leave the SSPX and want to "spill the beans"?
Could he legally enforce such an agreement without any monetary compensation to the departing priest? I know he is said to have removed the "faculties" of a priest who was expelled. The priest in question ignored this penalty and carried on his priestly work as an independent.
I can see how +Fellay may desire to have the power to remove faculties,
but
he has no such power, in reality.. Keep in mind he is a purveyor of
subjectivism. That is his belief because it is a means for him to attain power.
+Fellay is a voracious power-hungry monster.
The mere fact that +W came out swinging against subjectivism is alone a
sufficient motive for +F to think of him as "the enemy" because anyone with
a following who raises the wool regarding his fundamental system of
deceit becomes immediately inimical to everything. +Fellay wants power.
And he really believes that he has it. So of course, he'll pretend he can
remove faculties, even though he has no jurisdiction.
And it is the absence of jurisdiction that makes him furious, even to the
point that he is willing to put the Faith on the line, to sacrifice truth itself,
so that he can achieve jurisdiction. For him jurisdiction is the holy grail.
It's more important that anything else.
It is his false god.
Jurisdiction is more important to +Fellay even than regularization, because
regularization is merely the means by which he can achieve jurisdiction.
