There is talk, that when the church was consecrated, the altars were incensed.  BUT the incensing was not done with the incesors(?) but bowls place on altar and side altars.  Any comments to that?

Although I could not see it from my seat in the back of the church I have been told the incense was actually burned directly on the main altar itself per traditional protocol.

I could however see the flames and the smoke!  I thought I was going to have to go outside the smoke was so overwhelming and my allergies are in full swing.  But there must be an excellent air conditioning system because the smoke cleared remarkably quickly so I only did a bit of coughing and hacking.
