minute 26 -- B. Fellay reportedly claimed to have jurisdiction as
the SG of the Society but not as a Bishop of the Church, and
therefore, any expelled priests lose their supplied jurisdiction that
they would have received from him. (This apparently applies to
+W as well.) We have never heard this before.
Fr. Girouard got an email early (Monday) this past week that a
Polish website announced all the ordinations that will take place in
the world this past week in the Society - and in the Ecclesia Dei
communities - all on the same website page. The next day,
Resistance websites in France translated this Polish website into
French and USA Resistance websites translated it into English,
and then the following day, Fr. Girouard got another e-mail from
his friend saying -- Go back to the Polish website and see, they
have removed the Ecclesia Dei ordinations!
Fr. Girouard says that he's glad they removed them, but that does
not change the fact that they were there in the first place. He
says this proves that when the Resistance goes PUBLIC with
incriminating information, the Neo-SSPX withdraws from their error.
My comments:
We are left to expect that when Fr. Rostand or any of the other
Menzingen-denizens are questioned about how the Polish SSPX
website listed the SSPX along with FSSP, ICK, etc., they will try
to deny it, or say it was removed, or it was a mistake, or you are
making a big deal out of nothing, or that you should not pay any
attention to the 'Internet rumours'.
But watch and see: I predict they will not answer this question:
"But was the appearance of that Polish SSPX website page an
'Internet rumour' when they say it showed the Society
ordinations listed along with the new Ecclesia Dei ordinations?
They will not go on record identifying what is and what is not an
Internet rumour. They will not be held to having said anything
definitive about what constitutes Internet rumour. They do not
want anyone to know what specifically qualifies as Internet
rumour. In fact, if anyone claims that the M-ds have identified
what exemplifies Internet rumour, they will say you should not
believe Internet rumour.
They will not say whether the claim is an Internet rumor or not
that says the Menzingen-denizens have explained what it was
they saw as Internet rumour.
We ought to be asking again and again and again,
"But Fr. Rostand, give us an example of Internet rumour."
"Fr. Rostand, can you tell us what it is that you don't
want us to believe because it's an Internet rumour?"
"But Fr. Rostand, how can we know what an 'Internet
rumour' is if you can't explain it with examples?"
Watch him mock you, then. Watch him say that you might not
know what a poisonous snake is unless he is there to warn you.
Watch him try to make fun of your question. Be prepared to
stand up to his mockery and ask him to explain himself, and
let him squirm and try to escape the question. Let him make
a fool of himself in the process. He'll leave the podium. I tell
you, when up against the wall, Modernists try to ignore you.
They will walk away, even if they are standing before a crowd.
They would try to "take a different question," but if there are
more of you present, and every question they take is another
embarrassing one, they will walk away from the podium.
His answer will be that he doesn't want to repeat any Internet
rumour, and that we should not be repeating Internet rumour,
because it is spreading gossip, which is a sin, etc. But he will
not specify what he means with any examples, because they
want to remain free to deny such connections in the future.
They do not want to be held responsible for what they have
said.
