This thread became an abbott and costello skit 5 pages ago and ever since we talked about not talking about the cassock while talking about the cassock almost like gamblers who can't tear themselves away fm the one-arm bandits...Seriously, did ANYONE find the actual Conference interesting and/or useful?

There is utterly no point in anyone posting any comment on his doctrine
which is quite impressive here, because it will be followed up only by
superficial pablum about his clothing.  If the table wasn't in the way,
you'd be talking about his SHOES.  Next time:  Bishop Williamson, please
stand behind a curtain at waist height unless you're "properly" dressed!

This is the mentality of those who saw Our Lord riding into Jerusalem
on a beast of burden on Palm Sunday, and then went home to talk about
it only to go around and around about the palm fronds and the donkey.

The difference is, Jesus didn't speak for over an hour on that occasion.

The one thing the Jews can't handle is the Faith of Catholics.  The reason
that Palestine has all these problems is, the Gentiles are stupid.  When
called before the Judgment Seat of God, Christians will have no excuse
saying that it was the fault of the Jews.  They chose to follow the rules
the Jews asserted, and they did not have to submit to it.

They hate the true Faith.  The Catholic Church has never persecuted the
Jews.  On the contrary, the Church stepped in to PROTECT Jews when
any culture or nation reacted to them and began to persecute them.



Minute 53 ......

The problem is this: the worst aspects of the conversational abilities, of many people, are amplified on the web:
a. they don't really listen to/read what others say..
b. the slightest slight must be addressed ad nauseum..
c. they have to explain and re-explain "what they really meant" so often that it seems they won't be satisfied unless you repeat it back to them.
e. they're easily insulted.
f. and they don't know when to change the subject..
The internet may add to the problem in that you can't see the effect you're having on the "listener"..
