  • Mass on May 1st - On Monday, May 1st at 4:00 PM, Fr. Giacomo Ballini will offer Mass at St. Dominic's Chapel near San Antonio, TX. After Mass there will be a potluck, and a special presentation about Bishop Faure's seminary in France and the new Society of the Apostles of Jesus and Mary. For directions and more information, visit StDominicsChapel.com

Fr. Ballini is visiting many other chapels in the Resistance during his stay in the United States.

Fr. Ballini is an Italian priest, formed by the SSPX, who has been stationed in Ireland. He joined the Resistance in 2015.

Here is an article announcing Fr. Ballini's departure from the SSPX:

From a correspondent in Ireland comes the following encouraging news:

There are currently three Resistance priests in Ireland. Fr. Bufe is joined by Fr. MacDonald, back from Australia, both of whom are in turn jonied by Fr. Giacomo Ballini (an Italian priest who had been stationed in Cork under Fr. Wailliez, and before that in Preston).

At the 11.00 Mass in Cork yesterday, Fr. Ballini explained his departure to the faithful, and handed out docuмentation to better explain what is going on in the SSPX and why he felt that he had no choice but to leave. Fr. Wailliez is reported to have gone down to the chapel shortly afterwards in a rage to change the locks on the church (why would that be necessary?) and otherwise prove himself as vindictive as possible.

Meanwhile, Fr. MacDonald offered Mass in Wexford yesterday for around 45 people, in the chapel currently used by the Resistance which was once used by Dom Marmion some 100 years ago. Three chapels: Wexford, Cashel (Tipperary) and Tralee (Kerry) are now lost to the SSPX and with the Resistance. This is in addition to the other Resistance chapels where Mass is regularly offered: Kesh (Fermanagh), Longford (where Fr. MacDonald will be offering regular Mass) and Dublin (at the Skylon Hotel, where Fr. Bufe will be offering Mass next Sunday at 10am).

Remember to pray for Fr. Ballini, and pray that more priests and faithful will have the courage to stand up to the modernism of the neo-SSPX and do likewise.

  • Do we know what other locations he will be at, for those who would like to travel one nearby?

I'm pretty sure he's going to be at Stella Maris Chapel outside Houston, as well as Fr. Zendejas' other chapels, but beyond that I don't know the exact details (times, dates, and locations).

I'm not Fr. Zendejas' right hand man; I'm the coordinator of St. Dominic's Chapel. And that's about it.

Anyone out there who wants to chime in, please feel free to post when Fr. Ballini will be visiting your chapel.

  • Fr. Bellini shall next be Celebrating a High Mass this Sunday, April 30th, 5:30 pm, at Stella Maris chapel in Lamarque. I believe there are hamburgers afterwards and the presentation of Bishop Faure's seminary in France.

  • Hi,

I am from the UK, Father Ballini was our priest at Preston, he is a wonderful priest,  very kind and generous, a great sermoniser.

He has an amazing voice so it will be a real joy to hear him sing. I would recommend anyone who can get to his Masses to make the effort.

Nothing is ever too much trouble for Father Ballini.

    God Bless
