Dear readers,

 

Thank you for your patience! I really tried to update Sacrificium earlier, but I have been too busy. Among other things, I had to go to Virginia for the 25th Anniversary of the 1988 consecrations. I also have a lot of mail to answer to (electronic or paper), and I don’t like to make people wait. I usually answer the same day. I will try to continue this way for as long as I can. I figure that if somebody takes the time to communicate, he deserves a quick answer. Moreover, we have received quite a good financial support from people from all over the world, and I am always thanking benefactors and, when I have the address of the person, I am sending a card... And I still have all the other cares associated with a parish and an apartment. Therefore, I am asking you to continue to be patient. For the same reason, I am asking my friends and other people to be understanding if I do not give them my phone number. I just don’t have the time to “chat” or to repeat my story to everybody. I think you have enough material on Sacrificium to keep you informed. If somebody wants to communicate, just email me.

 

Before I introduce our new issue, I would like to give you a piece of good news: Last Saturday, July 13th, a first Mass of the Resistance has been celebrated in Levis, Quebec, on the property of my good friend Mr. Roger Lambert. Not all members of the Levis Resistance could attend, because it has been organized a bit at the last minute. Rev. Fr. Joseph Pfeiffer, with his proverbial energy and drive, came to Levis and celebrated the Mass and preached in English. An interpreter translated it in French. There were 14 adults and 12 children. Absent members number 13 adults and 16 children, so the hope is to have 27 adults and 28 children on the next Mass, for a total of 55 persons. Let us keep this group in our prayers!
