I arrived at Tagbilaran Chapel to attend mass. The chapel main door was locked. I thought there's no mass, but a faithful said that there will be mass and that Fr. Chazal is inside.

Some faithful and I enter through a side door beside the sanctuary. And I saw Fr. Chazal with a red sash instead of black as many SSPX priest used to wear. He asked me what time is the schedule for mass and he led the rosary.

A moment later I went out and there I learned that Fr. Chazal is to be locked out, the reason why the chapel is closed. They are forbidden to say mass, though the reason of his coming, according to him is to explain to the faithful his side. Then a priest (Fr. Ghela) that is send to say mass has arrived and told the faithful gathering outside the chapel that Fr. Chazal and Fr. Joe Pfeiffer are now expelled already.

When the door was opened and the faithful has seated, Fr. Chazal asked Fr. Ghela in front of us to give him time to talk but the reply is "Please get out, Father." And then Fr. Chazal countered that it was his money used to build that church built under by fr. Joe Pfeiffer. He said that he will not get out but is going to sit at the last pew. He was given five minutes. And true to his words he remained at the last pew throughout the mass.

During the sermon, a letter from Fr. Couture is read that says that Fr. Chazal is now expelled. But the name of Fr. Joe Pfeiffer was not mentioned in the letter.

After the mass Fr. Chazal said during our conversation that "now they thrown me out."

  • To this I say...

"The first shot has been fired."
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

My Avatar is Fr. Hector Bolduc. He was a faithful parish priest in De Pere, WI,

  • "In order to free (mankind) from bondage to these heresies, those whom the merciful Love of My Most Holy Son will destine for that Restoration will need great strength of will, constancy, valor and much confidence in God. To test this faith and confidence of the just, there will be occasions when everything will seem to be lost and paralyzed. This will be, then, the beginning of the complete Restoration."---Our Lady of Good Success

"The time of Antichrist will be near when the measure of injustice will overflow and when wickedness has grown to immense proportions, when Christians love heresies and the unjust trample underfoot the servants of God."--Saint Bridget of Sweden

Remember also our Lady said the few priests who reverence her would be ridiculed. WAKE UP!! This is happening!!!

  • Out of three chapels in this island province, one has supported Fr. Chazal and Fr. Joe Pfeiffer. They were able to say mass to that friendly chapel.

  • Opus Fellay strikes again. The treatment Fr. Chazal has received is disgusting.

Bishop Fellay, you should be ashamed.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

And I hope they will.  No that they are officially expelled from the SSPX, the Society can hardly expect obedience from them.  These priests have no jurisdiction, but then they never did.  If Ecclesia Suplet works for the SSPX due too the "Crisis in the Church", I don't see why these priests can make the same argument for their ministry now.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

Check out the YouTube on the following link to hear Fr Chazal:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPkL3lkmL3k&feature=youtu.be

Then pass it on to as many as possible. It lasts about 50 minutes and is well worth listening to. This is not just hear-say, as the 'capitulants' like to say, but the sad, sad situation. May Our Blessed Lady continue to inspire these brave priests and Mgr Williamson, and may Mgr Tissier to Mallerais realise that saying nothing will not help maintain the unity of the SSPX.

Ooops! Just realised some clever person has put up the text in English, but I still think it is good to actually listen to the voice of Fr Chazal; and the photo shows him with Fr Pfeiffer and Mgr Williamson on a lovely beach scene.  Music maestro! :guitar:

  • I'm no canon lawyer, but it seemed pretty clear from Fr. Couture's letter, which if memory serves goes back a couple of weeks,  that Fr. Chazal was out then.

  • I would like to be clear that the letter is not new since I heard I heard Fr. Ghela say that the letter is dated September 9. So I understand that that was the letter originally sent to the Korean faithful. And yes it was almost the same letter except that it clearly states that "Fr. Chazal is now expelled". I was shocked when I heard it. Fr. Chazal has heard it too since he didn't get out as he was told to.

Only a few gathered around Fr. Chazal after the mass. He asked me if I listened carefully to the letter being read. And I said yes. Then Fr. Chazal went on to say that that letter has been changed because in the original letter it was he who is expelling himself, but now it was they who expelled him.

Now they throw me out . I heard him say.

  • I learned that Fr. Chazal and Fr. Joe Pfeiffer will visit to chapels and mass centers in Mindanao in the coming days.

Will the chapels be closed for them? Will they be told to get out like here in Bohol? This thrilled me. Why? Please know that the brother of Fr. Joe Pfeiffer is the prior in Davao. How shall Fr. Tim welcome his bother Fr. Joe in his piory?

If the chapels are closed to them, they should say Mass on the steps.

It is my understanding that Fr. Tim does not agree with his brother's actions even though he is also anti-agreement.
