  • Just out of curiousity...how many priests are with Fr. Zendejas in the U.S.?

I know Fr. Garcia, but how many others?

By "with" I mean that they communicate some-what regularly and are friendly, willing to coordinate and work together, maybe visit or at least support each other...

Just trying to get a general feel of the U.s. RESISTANCE.

I thought that Fr. Zendejas's primary chapels were in Texas (outside of Houston where he has a school?), but something recently said New York, maybe? How many missions does he have? Where?

Not really important info, just curious.

He's a great priest, by the way.
We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

Well, right off the bat we have the problem that the "main Resistance" is a loose association of independent priests. The SAJM was only formed very recently; we'll see how that group and others grow in the coming years.

As for who Fr. Zendejas is on good terms with, he hasn't ever provided me with a list. As far as I know, he is on completely good terms with any Resistance priest who accepts Bishop Williamson, Bishop Faure, and Bishop Thomas Aquinas as legitimate, Catholic bishops of the Resistance.

That's certainly how I determine who is good, and who is crazy. I know it sounds like a cult of personality on the surface, but it really isn't. God has provided three bishops for the Resistance, and there is nothing wrong with any of them. Even if a person wanted to criticize a few minor opinions of Bishop Williamson (this or that apparition, or this or that poem or "poem", etc.), one is quite limited on what you can criticize -- at least if you restrict yourself to the truth. He is a valid bishop, completely Catholic (not a heretic), completely Traditional in his position on the New Mass, and working for Christ the King.

First of all, most of those who oppose the 3 bishops of the Resistance actually hate/oppose Bishop Williamson primarily. Let's be realistic. The other two are just "guilty by association".

In practice, those who strongly hate Bishop Williamson ALWAYS have personal or other issues which require them to hold this position. Perhaps they are female and don't want to be silent in church, avoiding pants 24/7, or stay out of the workforce. In other words, they are partly Feminist. Some others are home aloners, or those who like to play "catechombs". Others are stubborn heretic-types who like to play "theologian" when they are actually grossly ignorant of Theology. They read one passage from an Encyclical, privately interpret it, and condemn whoever they have to in order to defend their own ignorant opinion. Some of them are sedevacantist and just don't know it -- they are upset when Bishop Williamson says anything that would disappoint a sedevacantist! They say things like "Vatican II is heretical" with zero distinctions, and basically grab docuмents from the CMRI and SSPV and put their own signature on it. Many others are just emotional and feminine, being attracted to the individual (Fr. Pfeiffer), and allowing him to do their thinking for them. Fr. Pfeiffer is a charismatic speaker, and sounds very convincing *during* the sermon. Heaven help you if you dare to take notes and verify facts after the sermon!

Anyhow, there might be several priests Fr. Zendejas "has no problem with" but he still doesn't work closely with them. A lot of priests have their own chapels and do their own thing, not really having time for much else.

  • There's a partial list in this thread.

If you're in DEEP south TX, you can also add Fr. Trincado in Mexico.

  • I don't understand how such an intelligent and what was seemingly holy and pious priest could have fallen so far. I hope he disassociates himself from this scandalous character.
