Hi All, does anyone happen to know where Fr. Bufe is at present and if it is confirmed that he is supportive of Bishop Williamson, Fr. Pfeiffer, etc?

    Yes, good question.

Fr. Buffe is a good priest.  I believe I heard Fr. Pfeiffer in one of his conferences say that he is still in Ireland...put in the "corner".

Isn't Fr. Couture formerly the Superior in Ireland before he came to Asia?

  • I am bringing this thread back up because of the recent betrayals against the Carmelite sisters.

I do know Fr. Craig Bufe, SSPX; and know that he is somewhere in Ireland.  Fr. Bufe for many years has been trying to find some way, in Providence, to help start a Carmelite Men's order.  Presently, there is only (to my understanding) one very old traditional Carmelite Man left alive (if I remember he is also a Priest).  Fr. Bufe had approached him many times to start something (...) but he did not think he had the stamina to do so.

Next to that, I also know that Fr. Bufe has been wanting, and desiring to go and stay, at a Carmelite sister's order to help them in their spiritual and material needs.

If someone from Ireland knows where Fr. Bufe is at, please let him know of the dire need of the Carmelite sisters present betrayals from the Leaders of the SSPX and the Carmelite's difficult needs so that he may [know], pray, and seek God's Providence on it.

An FYI, Fr. Bufe is the ONLY priest in the SSPX who has not, purposely, made any Perpetual promises to the leaders of the SSPX -for this reason- he has seen the liberalism in the SSPX for a long time and the "writing on the wall"; like Bishop Williamson has.

  • I myself, do not have any contact with fr bufe, and have only seen him once in recent years, when he came for a day of Adoration in athlone. Buti am sure your message will be passed on to him. I believe he was Chaplin to a Carmel before he came to Ireland...
