Lad:

Nothing has changed.  Rome has become more Traditional under Bergoglio, so why not negotiate with the New Rome?  I mean, he looks to be on the verge of converting to Tradition.

Lad, I think you write this tongue in cheek.  Tell us clearly that you don't mean it, and are just being cute. :o

Yeah, 101 "subjective anecdotes":

(Satire) Response to Sean Johnson's book!

This exciting response to Sean Johnson's book is surely to sell in its tens!

This 300 page book begins with an excellent introduction by religious communities still attached to the SSPX and gives practical advice on the mental gymnastics needed to see everything wrong with the SSPX's trajectory whilst allowing oneself to be blackmailed with the withdrawal of Ordinations in spite of the availablity of four resistant Bishops.

Following this is a wonderful essay by an internal resistant SSPX priest who gives a detailed explanation to fellow priest and layman alike of ways to avoid schizophrenia when attending, supporting and facilitating visits by Bishop Fellay.

The next chapter is by the new SSPX Bishop on the importance of h0Ɩ0cαųst education in Society schools. A little bit random that chapter I thought..

Chapter three is a 200 page essay by Bishop Fellay on the Divine Right of State and the importance of absolute obedience. I was looking forward to the part on how this applies to the Society's resistence to Pope Francis but unfortnately my copy had a printing error and it appeared to be blank.

The final chapter is a one page article by Fr Pagliarani mentioning that, actually, he is the Superior General.

At just $49.99 is may appear expensive but it comes with a free ticket to watch Christopher West appear at next years Angelus conference which, by the way, is being held in a small room above the Angelus' offices. (Tickets still available!)

Of course this is all just friendly satire and 'click-bait' in order to bring to people's attention that Sean Johnson's book is now available in Europe from the various European Amazon outlets priced around 25 Euro. Please make sure you buy a copy and support this apostolate!

I have no doubt his tongue is firmly in cheek. The only people who spout this crap 24x7 are found in a certain Swiss hamlet

I, for one, found the satire humorous, though it wasn't quite evident at first that it was satire.

I especially like the one about ways to avoid schizophrenia while attending, supporting, and facilitating visits by Bp. Fellay.

Tradcatknight may be onto something. A more lengthy satire regarding the problems with the SSPX could be done to highlight those problems. Sometimes humor can put it into a different perspective, which could help the problems to be more apparent than direct criticism.

Bishop Huonder: "Thank you so much, Xavier Sem, for starting this thread, I couldn't agree more about the terrible injustices perpetrated against my good friends Bishop Fellay and Fr Davide. If only you knew them as I do, how sweet and kind they really are, you would understand the deep hurt that I feel. I was only discussing it with (Pope) Francis the other day. You know, it reminds me of the similar treatment that was meted out to me by some of the nasty faithful when I established in my diocese the traditional feast Dies Judaeicus. Truly, some people just have to be always criticizing and causing division. If it weren't the lovely new feast, it would have been altar girls or something else. But I digress. Thank you again, Xavier Sem, for setting the record straight. Shalom."
