Being moved before the gravity of the lamentable predicament wherein Bishop Williamson and his supporters find themselves by reason of unjust chicanery, and yet frustrated by the limitations of human effability in a vain endeavor to offer consolation of worthwhile efficacy, I turn to the pages of Holy Writ: hoping that the treasures thereof may refresh and inspire the good Bishop and those amongst the clergy and laity who are united to him in prayer and action, that they may persevere in these tumultuous trials and come to be illumined by the Eternal Wisdom Who vouchsafed us these self-same treasures.

Here is a commentary upon the Lessons of the First Nocturn at Matins for the Feast of Christ the King, taken from the tome Daily Breviary Meditations: Meditations for Every Day on the Scriptural Lessons of the Roman Breviary, in accordance with the Encyclical "Divino Afflante," vol. 4, written by His Excellency the Most Rev. Joseph Angrisani, Bishop of Casale-Monferrato, and translated by Rev. Father Joseph A. McMullin of St. Charles Seminary at Philadelphia, PA (New York: Benziger Brothers, Inc., 1954).
