It's a clever trick I guess. Hey, they can follow whatever bishop they want, right? They never SAID Bishop Williamson supports Flat Earth, now did they?
But they just so happen to lead you along to that conclusion nevertheless -- and if that misunderstanding happens to give them some added credibility, then "OOPS! it wasn't our fault!"

Very clever, but quite deceptive.
