I think people reading this would assume you're the editor of 'The Recusant' magazine and website - but he's not sedevacantist. So can you confirm you're not him?

No, I have no connection to the magazine nor the website. And I do think that Father must distance himself from Boston.

No, he most likely doesn't even recognize it. He is totally fixed on the Faith. It is all he lives for. My family has known him since he was ordained. We have had conversations with his mother, who is actually his aunt. His parents died when he was small so she took the three youngest, and the rest, something like 12 others, were placed elsewhere. She had praise for him over and above her own biological children and told how he was always perfect in his obedience and behaviour, selfless. It is an extraordinary family. In everything we have ever observed of him, and as I have said before, we knew him well, he is a person extraordinary for his virtues and love for Our Lord and Our Lady. I have made this point before but I will repeat it now, his problem is that he always thinks better of people than they deserve. He has a soft spot for Mexicans anyway because he dearly loves the Christeros. He especially loves Spain, Mexico and the Hispanic people who have done so much for the Faith all over the world. He often uses Spanish diminutives for many children and those he considers simple souls. Is he wrong about Pablo? I don't know him. But it seems he is causing a great deal of trouble and if everything on this forum is to be believed, he is not to be trusted with youngsters.
Now to say that Father Hewko is knowingly allowing this Pablo to do harm to young men or the cause of the Faith is to say he is cooperating with evil and he knows it. I reject that completely. Any one who knows him, knows that is not possible. He makes mistakes about people and I admit it. I don't know any priest who doesn't.
I don't know what the answer is, but I believe he should go to the monks in Silver City. They know him well, he was one of them once and they love him. Everyone who really knows him loves him. He is good and I can't say it any plainer than that. He is in a position he should not be in. He would have been better off staying with the Society, not everyone is cut out for the kind of life he is leading and I do not believe Fr. Pfeiffer has been a good influence on him.
He is a blithe soul and I am sure that one day he will blithely follow the Lamb wherever He goes but in the meantime... it is said that saints are hard to live with. For his superiors, Fr. Hewko has been exasperating at times, I have seen it. But I don't think any of them ever doubted his goodness, and I don't think they were any too anxious for him to leave the Society either.

There is a problem with this line of argumentation and it has nothing to do with Fr. Hewko specifically. It presumes that once good, always good. No soul is confirmed in goodness in this life and any of us can, at any moment, fall, and fall far. Priests and prelates are, in general, at greater risk of a fall because the devil desires their souls all the more. Therefore, the fact that Father Hewko was a good and holy priest back in 2012 is not a valid argument that he must remain so today. Nevertheless, I hope you are correct.
