When you get hired on at a workplace it is the employers responsibility to advise the employee the rules and regulations not the employee's. If and I say if Constance's actions were not guided from the beginning (which seems to be the truth as per Pab's comment) then it is mostly the fault of the Authority of OLMC for the lack of proper actions of the Authority of informing Constance of her duties. All this should have been clarified from the beginning before her arrival. What motivation there was to rush her down there and sell her business I cannot say (if she was rushed down there), but by the looks of it the majority of the fault lies with OLMC and the lesser fault lies with Constance for not clarifying exactly what Fr wanted from her. I would say if anyone decides to go down there do not put yourself under the authority of Pab whatsoever, and make a point of it, he is a layman.

Of course they were unclear about their expectations. Being unclear leaves people unsure, off balance, always questioning themselves, disorganized and much more vulnerable to your daily whims and commands.
