    • At the end of his sermon, Father gives us a good reprimand and a good reminder:


    "And we must do more than we used to do, that is the lesson of what's happening in the Society. If we only want to continue what we were doing at Christ the King [the SSPX chapel in Langley], that is not enough. We were not doing enough, that is why we are being chastised with this betrayal of the Superiors. So yes, we are happy to be in the Resistance, we are happy to carry this cross, but we have to do more in our daily lives than we used to do. We have to be more generous. And the fruit will be the change, by the grace of God."

    Speaking of how the great Fr. Girouard's sermons end, there was his
    sermon of the Feast of the Precious Blood, July 1st, 2012, that I had
    there by mistake (it played next after this sermon) and his last
    sentence was the following:

    "We should pray for the destruction of that conciliar church." (10:14)

    This present sermon, given on July 30th, 2013, is given the day
    Fr. Girouard returned to his home, when he had been in Vienna,
    Virginia, USA, the day before on the Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul,
    July 29th.  Opening theme:  the spirit of joy, doing the right thing.
