  • When I started going to my SSPX chapel they used to sell Father Fahey books but after a while they stopped selling them. I thought that maybe it was a sign of liberalization and that they thought Father Fahey was too controversial. Well I was glad to see one of Father Fahey's books displayed prominently in the bookstore this past week when I went to Mass.
    R.I.P.
Please pray for the repose of my soul.

I don't think so because his books were not in the bookstore for about two years.

  • Maybe it is a silent show of support for Bp Williamson.

:dancing-banana: :scratchchin: :incense:You may be right about that.
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

The people running the bookstores should not be judged harshly, for they are often times good Catholics who are doing the job because they want to help other Catholics remain true to Church doctrine and hold on fast to the Faith.

Something we can all do is keep asking for Fr. Fahey books to be displayed, and when we see one, we ought to take a moment to compliment the manager of the bookstore for displaying it.  Or buy the book!  And be joyful about it!  If you already have a copy, get another one so you can lend it out to friends.
