    A friend of mine has met him. He’s an independent traditional priest not affiliated to any resistance group. A good guy by all accounts.

    Can you give us any more information about him? His ordination for example, and whether or not he is sedevacantist? I have never heard of him outside of Mother Irene's newsletters and she would not answer my email queries about him. In the past she has used sedevacantist priests in no way connected with the SSPX-Resistance. If he is truly 'Resistance', the faithful have a right to know these things. If those in authority and the priests concerned refuse to answer such questions, the presumption must be that they are not truly Resistance and their ordinations are doubtful.
