Excerpts from an interview with Bishop Galaretta Poland

    Tuesday, July 9, 2013

Source: forum a bishop rose. Pelagius Thanks for translating this very informative interview, which is unfortunately not the glory of Bishop de Galarreta. We do not have the time either to make comments. Suffice it to note that it is weird and change your mind at all while a few months.

It is strange to treat us sedevacantists after oneself sedevacantist addressed by Bishop Fellay in April 2012 for defending our positions.

It's really weird to say that Chapter 2006 does not define good conditions rallying in Rome. These conditions, was the conversion of Rome to Tradition.
Bishop Galarreta is not a fool, the fact of seeing change your mind and puzzling. Was he sincere in November 2011 at Albano and in April 2012, when he signed his letter with the other two bishops ? One may ask. Anyway, people who change their minds and no real new patterns do not inspire confidence at all.
If some of our readers want an answer to the arguments of Bishop de Galarreta, they tell us, we will do. If no demand, we will not because we want to advance in the preparation of an article on Akita.

The penultimate issue of the Polish journal of the SSPX "zawsze wierni" ("Always faithful"), May / June 2013 (3/166) has published the text of an interview with Bishop Galarreta April 7 2013 when His Excellency was visiting our country. Since these confessions are fairly recent one can assume, unless a new flip-flops, they still reflect the thinking of Archbishop. The interview is titled "Be patient and calm - as St. Joseph" (in the original language "Bądźmi cierpliwi i spokojni -. tak jak św Józef" ). I have translated lower than the first questions and answers that relate to the question that interests us most. I leave without comment, at least for now (I have too little time), but I wanted to put it out of reach of other readers because many are wondering about the exact thought of Bishop de Galarreta. To appreciate the idea of a possible agreement with the apostate Rome. In essence it is the Bishop Fellay, but Bishop Galarreta has at least the merit of being frank and clear.

Let me point out that as soon as I read this interview, I realized that the text had to serve as the main inspiration for the editorial in the same issue of the journal, the famous full text of sophistry Pope and written by Father Stehlin papacy (commented on the forum "A bishop rose" ). After reading the following read the editorial Superior Poland. What unanimity exists between those who claim that "we also suffer a default, because of our canonical irregularity. It is not only the state of the post-conciliar Church is flawed, so is ours "( Father Pfluger ). To remedy, "be patient and quiet" and returned in "today's Church" which is "the Church very real" and "real" ( Bishop Fellay ) asking the conciliar authorities could we recognize "explicitly the right to profess full faith and reject the errors that are contrary to, the right and the duty to oppose publicly errors and instigators of these errors whatsoever" ( Declaration of three Bishops June 27, 2013 ).

Be patient and calm - as St Joseph
Exactly a year ago the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X has completed the third rosary crusade during which 12 million rosaries were said. Many hoped that through this prayer the canonical regularization of the Society in the Church happen. However, this did not happen. What do you think, Sir? How to judge the results of this crusade?
I believe that the Virgin Mary, having heard our prayers, has miraculously protected the Brotherhood of great danger. Please note well that just after the end of the crusade we received clear signs about the true intentions of the members of the Vatican hierarchy with respect to our Fraternity. First, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith we received the news that our proposal for the agreement was rejected. At the same time it required us exactly the same as what was required of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1988, namely the acceptance of all the teaching of Vatican II, the recognition of the validity and legality of the new rite of the Mass, the unconditional acceptance of the new Catechism and the new canon law.

It is clear that the acceptance of such requirements would mean the termination of our spiritual warfare, it would end the reason for the existence Brotherhood. Second, by appointment of Pope Benedict XVI at the head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith was placed Bishop Gerhard Müller who questioned certain truths of the faith. This man is a declared enemy of our Fraternity and he does everything to attract a new conviction on it. His appointment itself unfortunate for the Church, however, is for us a clear sign by which we probably will avoid many disappointments.

In addition, Madonna has influenced a manner no less miraculous sessions last General Chapter of July 2012 during which the Society has again achieved the internal harmony, consistency and unanimity and is protected situations any similarly dangerous in the future. Concretely speaking, the chapter has set very specific conditions that must be met if in the future a canonical regularization of relations with the Roman Curia should take place, that is to say if Rome wants us to accept "as we are "(sic!).

    What are these conditions?

These are conditions that protect the Brotherhood against the establishment of any agreement whatsoever if the Roman authorities really guarantee the possibility of the existence and security of the operation to free the Catholic Tradition. Archbishop Lefebvre was never primarily against the agreement, even with modernist Rome (sic!!). Of course it would be best if you first conciliar Rome renounce the errors should return to Tradition and only if after, on this basis, the Brotherhood automatically should obtain a canonically regularized status in the Church.

However the reality encourages us not to depend on any agreement with a self-critical of Rome, but an allocation of real guarantees that Rome, as will enable the Society to remain as it is, to traditional knowledge, missionary opposite error and the conciliar liturgical revolution. Archbishop Lefebvre always stressed, even after the episcopal consecrations of 1988, if the agreement with Rome was not successful, it was because he had not received sufficient guarantees for the free operation of the Society. Before the beginning of the last general chapter was not clearly defined (sic) what conditions sine qua non should be met before we can say that these guarantees had been given to the Society.

What are the most important tasks before the Priestly Society of St. Pius X?

Above all we need to keep and defend the traditional faith of integrity. We must also keep our commitment to the Holy See. Archbishop Lefebvre spoke again. Today, in front of the prevailing crisis worsens and the conservation of love for the Holy See and the papacy in souls is extremely difficult. In Brotherhood we must always take care to ensure that the improper behavior of the members of the Vatican hierarchy does not hide from us the Holy See itself.

We have to remember that behind the knotting it is nevertheless the sun. We therefore reject the temptation to give up even one of these tasks. If someone gives up even one of these tasks, it will lose the spiritual balance. So either he wants at all costs to be "Roman", even at the cost of a clear and uncompromising defense of the faith - and some went to the so-called joined, or he wants to be a defender of the faith, but no love for the papacy - and some went to the sédévacatisme.

The fact that Rome was shaken by a crisis of faith should not bring anyone to the negation of Rome itself: it is one and no [other] place on earth will not replace. Where is the Pope, there is the Church. Those who do not understand the positions arrived sedevacantism theoretical or practical. This however is not the way of our Fraternity from the beginning to keep watching fidelity both to the doctrine of the faith that the so-called romanitas.

Following questions and answers about the SSPX and Dad Buongiorno (two) and the consecration of the SSPX in St. Joseph (six).

"

WOW!  Didn't Menzingen get to him and tell him there "was no agreement?"

" It requires the acceptance of Vatican II, the recognition of the validity of the new mass (which, obviously we therefore did not recognize before!), acceptance of the new catechism, acceptance of the new canon law"

Fellay kept saying: "they keep saying agreement--we have no agreement!"
" they accept us as we are!"
                                " We don't change"
                                yet.
" we can accept a little bit of religious liberty"
" those who oppose the Vatican Council, I think, have just not                          not read it's docuмents"
"it's just the interpretation of the Council that was bad"
" we agree the new mass could be valid"
" we accept the new code of canon law (1983)
          BUT,                " WE DON'T CHANGE!"

These people are so confused. They DO NEED a marketing company-- to tell them what to believe, to think, and to say!

Here's a Bishop, who says in October, 2011 that it is an "illusion" to think there can "be any agreement"who said" There can be no agreement-- they do not have the faith"; then, in March/April 2012, decries Bp. Fellay's pursuing the Agreement; then, in June/July 2013, supports fully the agreement; and now says "We can't have any agreement-- the people in Rome hate us, and are out to do us in, but if we do have an agreement, we are protected by the six conditions!", and we want to stay close to this Rome, for its the real Rome!

      Unbelievable!
