I have some very poor experiences with the younger generation of SSPX priest in terms of their apostolic zeal (or lack thereof). So, there was one time I went to an SSPX chapel early before Mass for Confessions, and got to the front of the line (this was about 50 minutes before scheduled Mass). As I was walking in, this (younger) SSPX priest was literally just socializing in the parking lot with some "parishioners" (talking about nothing pastoral in nature ... as I could hear what they were saying). I stood there for nearly 30 minutes in line, while the line gradually built up and stretched to the front of the chapel. So the priest finally decides to come in about 20 minutes before Mass, and got maybe halfway through the line before he had to cut it off so he could begin Mass reasonably on time. So ... how many people there missed being able to receive Holy Communion that day because they couldn't get to Confession before Mass ... all because this priest wanted to get in his social time before Mass?
