The declaration can be viewed here:
https://sspx.org/en/news/1974-2024-semper-idem-48888They talk to the right but they walk to the left, as Bishop Williamson says.
The very title of the article on the SSPX website is a lie: "1974 – 2024 “SEMPER IDEM”. No, things are not at all the same in the SSPX, as we have progressively witnessed over the last 12 years.
One obvious example: just imagine for one moment, if you possibly can, Archbishop Lefebvre treating the conversion to tradition of a high up Roman like Archbishop Vigano with almost complete disregard. That alone condemns today's SSPX. They would rather fraternise with Pope Francis and his friends like Bishop Huonder than a hero of the faith like Archbishop Vigano who truly echoed the 1974 declaration of Archbishop Lefebvre before his more recent slide towards sedevacantism.
The revolution of the 2012 General Chapter, where the 2006 Chapter resolution of no practical agreement with modernist Rome without doctrinal agreement was overturned, stands to this day. The shameful conditions for such a practical agreement without conversion of Rome are still in place waiting to take the SSPX into the Synodal Church that they pretend to condemn. It truly is hypocrisy. They even admitted the inadequacy of the conditions, yet there they stand 12 years later without alteration.

ABOUT THE GLORIOUS DECLARATION OF THE FSSPX OF 21ST NOVEMBER
Beware of the ferment of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy (Luke 12:1).
The glorious
statement "1974 - 2024 Semper idem" made by the leadership of the Fraternity yesterday November 21, is perfectly denied by various proven facts that manifest the split between the words and the acts that take place in Neo-Fraternity since at least 2012, and among which stand out, in recent years, the shameful
affaire Huonder and the infamous agreement between the Fraternity and the Vatican on marriages stand out. "Semper idem".
This blog has docuмented more than enough how the head of the FSSPX has betrayed and continues to betray Monsignor Lefebvre; however, in this passage, the editors of the statement show proud presumption: The Fraternity could not deviate a bit... They claim that it is created, against palmary evidence, that the Fraternity has never deviated a bit: "semper idem."
The betrayal of the FSSPX to Monsignor Lefebvre has been to seek to be regularized by liberal and modernist Rome, ceding in doctrine. Therefore, and among other things, in many priories it is now badly seen to preach manly against the demolishing Francis (who, by the way, is not mentioned once in the glorious statement) and many good priests are afraid to speak as in the early days of the congregation, in the face of the possibility of reprisals on the part of the authority. "Semper idem".
The FSSPX's road to Rome has been bumpy and today is at a standstill. It is not impossible that the periodic announcements and rumors about the consecration of bishops in the Fraternity are really directed to the Vatican and not to the faithful of the congregation, as part of a strategy of pressure on Rome to unblock the negotiations.
As we know, in 2012 the Fraternity, although semper idem, was about to succuмb, to get under the power of the pope. In this regard, an illustrative and unpublished anecdote of the P. Brihwiler SAJM (Swiss priest expelled from the FSSPX):
"In April 2012, Father Schmidberger told me in Stuttgart (he called me after my Sunday sermon in Hagstedt and Hannover): Listen, Father, our Fraternity will receive from Rome einen Mantelvertrag, that is, favorable conditions with which our statutes are to be adapted in July 2012..., ... and Monsignor Fellay will be the prelate (1) until the end of his life."
Mr. Sean Johnson of the United States, in the year 2021, wrote a book of almost 400 pages entitled “As we are? 101 compromises, changes and contradictions of an FSSPX in search of a practical agreement with modernist Rome” (2). 101 compromises, changes and contradictions! Semper idem?

personal prelature in which, according to the secret plans of Rome and Mgr. Fellay, the FSSPX was to be converted.

Post scriptum: a reader priest tells us:
"Mgr. Lefebvre does not mention the Fraternity once in its 1974 statement (that is why it can be signed by any Catholic of Tradition not linked to the FSSPX), while Pagliarani only in the first paragraph mentions the word Fraternity three times. It's all they think about.
