Uh, piss off.  I'd appreciate it if you refrained from insulting my and others' intelligence. Your situational ethics is actually more тαℓмυdic than Catholic, e.g. it is laudable to rob/rape/kill the goyim for they are not Jews/humans, etc.  If a man has said something stupid, so be it -- Jew, Catholic, whatever.  If he has not, so be it.  Let him defend his remarks, or defend them for him, but don't whine to me like you are doing.  It is embarrassing, all the more so because you actually think you are being noble, charitable, what have you.

His remark shows he, inexplicably and indefensibly, continues to hope that the latest of the Great Destroyers, whom he wrongly believes to be the Vicar of Christ, will somehow do what none of them has done at any moment during the last 55+ years.

I don't feel bad at all.  Though I seldom post to CI now, I think we can all appreciate the fact that a lot of forum posts tend towards the negative and ad hominem attacks.  (I myself have done it.)  I am not in the slightest offended by remarks made about me and others.  It's just an integral part of CI's historic identity.  It's been going on for years.
Even the bishop, at first, wanted to believe that Francis' Consecration was real.  But all evidence points to the contrary.  Catholics want to believe.  Charity is disposed to believe all things.  But I am no more stupidly credulous about this pope than anybody else.  Numbers, even, of Protestants, realize that Francis is a phony Marxist attired in papal robes.
