    RERUM NOVARUM – I
Men hungry for power want Socialism to reign.
    Thus Globalists want universal pain.

Did not Karl Marx once say that Communism can be summed up in one simple phrase – “the abolition of private property”? And did not a supreme Globalist, Klaus Schwab, recently promise all souls alive that under Globalism “they will own nothing but they will be completely happy”? And does that not say that Globalism will essentially be on-going Communism? But why this detestation of private property? Because these godless souls are wanting to put an end to any human society that still has any belief in, or respect for, the God of the Ten Commandments: Seventh, thou shalt not steal, Tenth, thou shalt not even desire to steal. Two whole Commandments out of ten, to establish the principle of private property amongst men. The modern war on private property is, amongst other things, modern man’s war on God.
Defending the interests of Almighty God, the Catholic Church defends private property against all Socialists, Communists, Globalists and other enemies of human society who want to destroy it. One notable defender of private property was Pope Leo XIII (1878–1903) in his famous Encyclical, Rerum Novarum of 1891. Since the godless Globalists are threatening right now to overthrow all human society with their “Reset,” let us have a look at this Pope’s defence of the principle of private property.
Private property, he says ((RN 8) is a natural right of man, to abolish which is unjust, harming both workers and owners, both States and governments. This is because man alone is a rational animal among the rest of the animals, or brutes. Thus all animals must feed, but whereas God thinks ahead and provides for the feeding of the brute animals, God gives to men a mind to think ahead for their own future. This means that whereas the brute animals will merely use things, man will use them and also take them into his possession. But the earth alone can supply for his recurring future needs. Therefore man is of such a nature as to take the earth into his possession, in other words he has a natural right to property.
To the objection that the State can provide for all men within it, Leo XIII replies (RN 13) with another key principle, that the individual is prior to the State (because for a State to exist, already existing individuals must come together). And to the objection that God gives the earth to mankind in common, in other words He gives all the earth to all mankind (RN 14) and not just to this or that owner in proper, Leo replies that while it is true that God offers the earth to serve everyone and to be owned by anyone, never-theless any particular part of it is to be possessed by someone. Otherwise the strife will be endless, so that, as Klaus Schwab very well understands, the State will have to intervene to exercise supreme control.
Moreover (RN 15), a man is definitely more motivated to work on what is his own property, and the sweat of his brow so makes marks upon, and enters into, his property that to deprive him of ownership of it is both to deprive him of motivation to work upon it and to defraud him of the fruit of his labours. Man naturally attaches to his land. Socialism and Globalism both uproot him the better to control him.
The individual’s natural right to property is further reinforced by his natural family obligations (RN 18). As fatherhood is a natural right extending the individual into the head of a family, so the family is of a nature to extend the right of property, either for instance to feed the whole family in the present, or as a bequest to the children for their future. Nor can or should the State provide (except in families’ special distress), because children enter a society or State only through a family, and so the prior-existing family has prior rights and duties to those of the State.
The sane Pope concludes (RN 22) that Socialism will ravage society with turmoil, envy, poverty, universal wretchedness and enslavement. But see next week what Leo says the State does need to do.
    Kyrie eleison.

  • We are doing a short course in Catholic social doctrine, as part of a larger half-credit government class, in homeschool.  I have printed this and will read it verbatim in class.  Most excellent.

  • Might not a man’s profession or occupation be thought of as his private property since he has either worked for it at university, trade school, or through apprenticeship?  Cannot a man inherit a professional practice, business, or trade just like acquiring an item or real estate?
If so, then state micromanagement of that profession or trade is the same as depriving a man of his material property.
In the US, two such professions come to mind as no longer belonging to their rightful practitioners, having been effectively stolen by the federal government.  The medical profession and that of teaching no longer permit highly educated professionals to practice their skills.  Instead, medical professionals must follow predetermined protocols as determined by bureaucrats financed by the pharmaceutical industry and globalists such as the CDC and WHO. In order to work as a physician, one must join one of a few hundred medical corporations and be subject to their regulations.  There is no more ownership of one’s education, skills, and experiences as a physician.  Doctors are relegated to highly paid assembly line workers without any professional autonomy.  The patients are treated as inanimate objects on the assembly line.  The doctor is no longer in charge of his practice. The location of his office, it’s decor, set up, his staff from the custodian, the front desk workers, nurses assistants, nurses, PAs and his work schedule are not in his power.  If, for example, there is an unsatisfactory CNA who is persistently late for work, unkempt in appearance, rude to patients and coworkers, and clumsy at performing her medical duties, there is very little the doctor can do.  In years past, the doctor rented or owned his facility, oversaw its decor, hired his own staff, and fired them, if need be.  Yes, basic standards of sanitation and professional standards as determined by state medical boards of physicians, not financiers or politicians, had to be followed, but the doctor was free to practice medicine as he saw it in the best interests of the patient.  If a patient arrived with certain complaints, for which it was usual to perform a certain test, but the patient had had a very bad reaction in the past to the test, the doctor was free to order another test in its place.  Today, that freedom is gone.  Even when contraindicated by past reaction, the doctor must “follow the protocol.”  If he does not, he can be brought before the medical board and fired by people who know nothing about medicine.  If the patient consents to the undesired test and his condition worsens, he has no recourse because the doctor “followed the protocol.”  This has two effects.  First, it draws unethical and possibly unskilled physicians in it for the money, who won’t advocate for their patients. Second, it causes patients to cease seeking out necessary medical care because no doctors care to listen to them or to look into their predicament history.  Once the patient realizes he is no more than a product on an assembly line, why will he continue paying his hard earned money to those whose loyalty is to an abusive system instead of his health?  When he fails or even dies as a result, the fault is his own.  He’s discarded like a defective product.  Welcome to Communist Medicine.

The other stolen profession is education. The art and science of teaching are gone.  It’s now a matter of state micromanagement of every aspect of a person’s education from infancy (day care) through post doctoral work.  The teacher has no control over anything from classroom decor to seating arrangements, to curriculum, methodology, classroom management (used to be called discipline!), testing, pacing of lessons to meet students’ needs.  Since nearly everything is taught and learned online, and discipline is not allowed, teachers are no longer needed.  They certainly do not need a college education.  In fact, the average eighth grader will do.  This is because all that’s needed is someone to deal with technical issues on digital devices.  Education, like medicine, operates on the factory model.  The teachers follow the protocol as the students flow past on the assembly line.  If a student misses out on a procedure or falls off the line, there’s a protocol for that.  He’s put back towards the beginning of the conveyor belt for another try.  If he’s repeatedly rebooted, without success, after a set time period, he’s tossed in the bin, a defective product, a “useless eater.”  Why doesn’t a teacher step up to assist?  To try another method?  Because it’s not in the protocol.  A new generation of teachers is arriving in primary and grammar grades who literally cannot teach without a computer.  So far as what is taught, (and what isn’t), the teacher no longer cares.  There is no more mission to better society.  The mission, if there is any, is to indoctrinate with political corruption, lies, and to make money making robots whose jobs are to make money.  A teacher who teaches to meet student needs, to instill sound morals and fear of God, and  who teaches discipline will soon be fired.
In the US, the controversy over CRT in the lowest of the preschool grades, revealed to parents by the Covid scamdemic lockdowns, has had the opposite effect than that hoped for by the globalists.  Many parents’ eyes were opened to the brainwashing and simply substandard educations their children were receiving in the public schools.  When the schools finally reopened for in-person education, many students did not come back. Parents enrolled them in religious schools and private schools. Many more have continued homeschooling. And many students remain unaccounted for.  The public schools lost track of them, especially in large districts, either population-wise or geographically.
I personally know the whereabouts of eight such students.  All eight should legally be in education.  Two of them are, it’s just that their old public school hasn’t found them.  They’ve either not looked or they haven’t tried very hard.  They aren’t in hiding. Their grandparents who were raising them suffered the loss of the grandmother to Covid.  Grandpa wasn’t up to the job of single fatherhood at age 80, so he moved in with a daughter and the children are in another state living with their aunt, uncle, and cousins. They’re being homeschooled with their cousins who’ve known no other kind of education.  The other six children are in their teens and they’ve all dropped out, either by default or intention.  The two 16 year olds are actually legal to drop out.  All they need is a letter of parental permission.  The school district hasn’t inquired about them, so their mother figures, “Why bother?”  They both have off-the-books farm jobs. Of the remaining four, two are ages 14 and 15.  In so as I know, they’re doing nothing.  They moved mid-pandemic and their mother has so many “issues” she hasn’t registered them.  They hang out at home and play video games.  Of the two remaining, both girls, one got pregnant and officially dropped out at 17.  The other is 16, not yet legal to leave in her state.  She, too, moved with her family.  She was among the rare teens who ended up hospitalized with Covid and is still not fully recovered close to two years later.  Her former school hasn’t looked for her and her parents haven’t enrolled her elsewhere.  They’re currently seeking medical help from a naturopathic doctor.  She’d like to return to school but just isn’t up to it.  Second choice is to get her GED.  It all depends upon her health as God wills.
Welcome to Communist Education.  Please pray that homeschooling remain legal and unregulated so long as the government is evil.

    So many tragic stories.

I used to think the globalists are opposed to homeschooling but actually that is what they want, as long as it's online.

"The school district hasn’t inquired about them, so their mother figures, “Why bother?”  They both have off-the-books farm jobs."

Actually they may be better off that way.

This is a fictional account which is based on real life extensive research into the future of education the globalists are implementing:
